2400g temps

i have few questions about the 2400g not sure if i doing this right

im running 3.80 Ghz on all 4 cores at 1.4v stock cooler 16 GB of ram at 3000 MHz

apu is set to 1250 MHz at 1.2v  in closed in a fractal design node 202

i feel like my temperatures are high 

at stock temp 90 degrees Celsius i ran prime95 for 20 minutes and when overclock is was at 94 degrees Celsius is this normal

i dont think anything in your pc should reach over 60  might be wrong tho

can you go lower in core voltage?

I have my 2400G at stock clock speeds and while running Prime95 and FurMark at the same time I'm hitting 80C with the fan at 100% after 10 minutes. I'm using a Noctua NH-L9a-AM4 though so the temps would be much lower with the Stealth cooler. I'm also using the Node 202 case.

You should aim for 80..85c maximum.

Try a lower voltage, like 1.385v .. 1.39v

Prime 95 and furmark are designed to stress your system and get it much hotter than it normally would. My system is in a silverstone rvz-03 which isn't entirely different from your case and I'm running a ryzen 5 1600. Using the stock cooler (not the stealth),  I would hit about 78 degrees running just intel burn test. That's pretty much expected. When I overclocked the chip it would throttle and hit temps way higher than I was comfortable with. However when overclocked during gaming it wouldn't go over 70 degrees Celsius. That is technically fine but I fixed that by custom liquid cooling both my cpu and gpu with a 240mm radiator. After even all this if I run the cpu overclocked at 3.85Ghz with 1.365V then I can easily hit 70 degrees Celsius using a liquid loop. So those temperatures are normal especially with small coolers with the cpu overclocked at 1.4V. Remember that increased voltage raises heat output exponentially. Or logarithmically. I can't remember but either way it's not a straight line.

Another question is whether or not you have fans acting as intake above cpu and intake by gpu as well. In my specific case I use the gpu portion as outtake and it works miracles. Also by removing the io plate some air can escape out the back by the cpu so that the cooler is more effective if it's downdraft.

Yeah, of course they are high!
Because you bought the wrong case...

 

That one is a small form factor wich is very small and doesn't allow for decent heatsinks...

 

Wich leaves you with one of those:

So if you want to overclock, you need a decent heatsink - wich is not possible (or rather really expensive) in that case.

 

So you have two choices:

 

a) stop overclocking

b) get a case that allows a bigger heatsink and get a decent heatsink with that as well.

 

 

And what heatsink are you using right now?? The Stock one??
