Ubisoft is killing PC gaming.

I have a med-high end gaming PC,

i7 4790

RX Vega 64

Asus B85M-G

16GB DDR3 1600MHZ

2560X1080 @75hz LG Ultrawide monitor.

I can run mostly all AAA heavy games at the highest available resolution at an acceptable playable capped at 75FPS (monitor limit), such as

Shadow of the tomb raider

Shadow of war

BF1

BF5

Mass Effect Andromeda

BO4

TW: Warhammer 2

Ashes of singularity

Destiny 2

Frostpunk

Etc.

Now coming to Ubitsoft games, they have the worst optimization for a big company, small developers have better optimized games than them.

Its like ubisoft dont care about PC gaming society and their main concern is console society, therefore not spending more time on optimization or coding DX12 or Vulkan into their games.

They have pretty good games like Wildlands, assassin's creed odyssey, watch dogs 2 and other titles but they all run poorly, take wildlands vs shadow of war for example, i can run max settings on SoW no sweat, wildlands it sturggles in cities...

Ubisoft and other developers and games (BO4 and their bad servers) are just milking PC games for money for little efforts, if they keep it this way consoles will have the upper hand once PS5 is released and other 60FPS capable consoles.

They can try but they can't change the fact that the console market shrink's as the PC market grows. My main concern is that mobile gaming is killing household gaming.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

What are you expecting from the company that declared the great majority of pc gamers to be pirates years ago but are now trying to give whole different speech? Of course their PC ports are going to be shit. They don't care about PC, they never did. They just want your money.

They may think we've forgotten, but I sure haven't.

Don't buy Ubisoft games then. I don't think I've bought an Ubisoft game since the original watch dogs. What a piece of shit that was.

Forcing to use uPlay alone makes one want to pirate their games.

You could say that their strategy for fighting pirates has worked then. :)

Vega 64 is part of your problem, since their games run even worse on AMD. That splash screen at the beginning is an absolute joke

Hey man, Ubisoft games don't run particularly well on consoles either! Playing AC: Origins on my Xbox One was one of the factors that contributed to me deciding to build a gaming PC. So yes, their games are hard to run even on high end hardware but I still enjoy a lot of them.
