Wait, can you not use 2 straps at the same time?

That's dumb. You're giving up half your fingers.

To be honest, I think the best peripherials for our current computing ecosystem are still the keyboard and the mouse (with an occasional controller usage for some games). I think there is still room in optimizing the keyboard, playing around with sizes and shapes to better fit the human hand. Maybe the qwerty layout is also not the best. I think the ergodox and similar keyboards are interesting, but they are too expensive for mainstream adoption.

But these radiacally different input methods... I mean I would try this out, and then put it into my drawer. For that, $180 is way too much.

I want one, but... Nope

That puts it to $250+ fees...

Also sites advertise it for 149.99, so they did a increase of $20 due to demand?

I can see 2 one for a mouse, but try tapping 2 different gestures at once with you hands, you'll quickly find out it's not easy, possibly impossible to do. This can be proven by trying to touch different fingers on the thumbs, your other hand should start mimicking the dominant hand like the good little slave it is.

I think a good use for this would be for teachers doing slide shows, that way they don't need to go back and forth to the computer, they just need to type on the board.

This looks pretty fascinating to be honest. Now if i could touch type with it, that would be a game changer for me.

They could have used the learning app to help calibrate the "keyboard"  to recognize the users typing styles, with gesture recognition only for spl shortcuts. with a mouse built in to it, this could be the perfect peripheral for games and developers alike.
