It isn't good, I would recommend a sandy bridge i7 instead.  Maybe x58 if you can get it cheap.

In Canada, the chips are evreywhere but mobos are like 300 and quite rare

Ryzen 3 and a decent mobo should be around 170$. Not much more expensive but a lot better performance

Its not good. I'm running FX8350 overclocked to hell at 5.0 Ghz and it still struggles at everything. Waiting for my Ryzen bundle to arrive on Monday finally.

Better get i3 or Ryzen 3, you will get better performance.

Main system: Ryzen 7 7800X3D / Asus ROG Strix B650E / G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO 32GB 6000Mhz / Powercolor RX 7900 XTX Red Devil/ EVGA 750W GQ / NZXT H5 Flow

Which ryzen cpu did you get? I'm waiting for 2nd gen ryzen to come out in april personally before I upgrade to see what AMD has to offer this quarter.

R5 1600, 6 cores 12 threads, got it with a decent discount on amazon for 130 euros. Got a nice B350 Tomahawk Arctic to do a small overclock to reach speeds of 1600x or maybe even higher, thankfully I got water cooler to go with it.

I can't really wait until April because my FX8350 is on a verge of blowing up since it has been working on 5.0 Ghz for over a year now. And I have been getting some frequent system lock ups when doing heavy tasks like gaming.
