Too many intake fans?

Hello all. I have a quick question/concern about my current case's fan setup. I have 5 120mm fans working as intake, and 1 120mm fan working as exhaust. Here is a link to a professionally-drawn image that diagrams the scene. My case is a Corsair 760T. 

 

Is this case setup creating way too much positive pressure, and is that really a bad thing? Or am I worrying too much? Thanks!

More airflow is never bad.

 

Sure, the return/fan is probably gonna be less, but more air is going to be moved and therefore your components are going to be more cool.

Want to know which mobo to get?

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.

 

Only you know what you need to do with your computer, so nobody's really qualified to answer this question except for you.

What you want is negative pressure to get the air out of the case. Yes you want some fans for intake but more for exhaust to draw the hot air out instead of around in the case.

Positive airflow does have its advantages. It's better for dust management since you know exactly where to put filters and you're good. Whereas on a negative pressure air will go into the case from any little hole that has negative pressure, so it'll collect dust in the nooks and crannies.

I would highly recommend using the top as exhausts as heat often rises and by putting the tops as intakes blocks the conventional flow of air.

To quote Steve from GN "yes, heat rises, but heat also tends to go the way a 2000RPM fan pushes it to". The whole heat rises argument is only really relevant for fanless or very low RPM setups.

I mean well I'm quite stupid with PC placement so....up is pretty much the only way to go as front is intake and the back is rather tight. But yes every 0.1% adds up! Makes the massive difference of 0.0000something degrees I don't know....I'm too lazy to change it :D

What CPU cooler you have? I would also say tops as exhaust, and probably have rear as intake instead with (air) cooler pointing to top. Rear ofc needs filter.

I've got a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO.

 

I would think if I left the back fan as intake, my CPU fan and rear fan (now working as an intake) would be working against each other, pushing air into one another with the current CPU fan placement. Because of motherboard space restrictions, I don't have the ability to flip the fan on the CPU cooler around, otherwise this might fix that issue.

What are your specs?

Are you running the fans at the same rpm? 

If your temps are fine, there's nothing to worry about. The only downside to having more positive airflow over neutral or negative airflow is worse cooling.

Sorry for the late response. All intake fans are connected to a fan controller, running the same speed. Exhaust is running to the motherboard and is set to run at 100% all the time. Temps are always fine for me, I just wanted approval.
