Been trying to setup the latest version of the script, but I keep getting this error when I try and run it from the .bat file. Anyone got ideas on how to sort this?

That is a issue with login. Looks like the script isnt correctly handling the error. Anyway make sure that you are using the correct credentials (Floatplane.com not Linustechtips.com) when trying to use the script. I have just pushed out a silent update to 4.0.3 that will properly handle that error again so I also suggest downloading that version again. If you need any more help a faster way to contact me is on discord, otherwise here is fine

I think its an account details problem. My floatplane account is created from my forum account and I can't seem to login with my forum credentials or create different credentials for it on the Floatplane.com site since they are linked. I think I probably need to to wait until my current subscription expires or something and make a new account.

You can't use form credentials with the new version of the script. What you need to do is make a new floatplane.com account and then link your form account to it in the account settings page. I might make a guide that better explains this since a few people haven't quite got it the first time.

No, just go to this page and sign up with your current email, I even used the same username and password as the forum so I wouldn't forget

Once logged in I think you have to go to this page to link to your forum account

Pretty sure that the api just updated and broke logins. I will look into it later but if you already have credentials saved you should be fine. Otherwise just use manual cookies mentioned in the guide on github for now if you have to reauthenticate.

Seems like Floatplane.com has changed how login works again, and have disabled logging in via the api. For now you will need to use the manual cookies method and periodically load floatplane.com in a browser to use the script. Im looking into a fix.

If it has the cookies its fine because floatplane.com persists cookies so you don't get signed out unless you sign out specifically. So you can still use the script if you manually get cookies. It's just the script can't grab them itself since the floatplane api straight up returns 404 for login, even though none of the references have changed for logging in within their js files. So I'm kinda lost as to what's happened.

This is just fixes for floatplane.com login being changed, that is now working again. I'm working on a massive update so currently this isnt very feature rich. I was intending to add logging for @rob1998 in this release but I have decided to hold it for the big update as I cannot do it properly in this one.

This is just fixes for floatplane.com API being changed. Currently I am putting the majority of my work into the 5.0 update so this branch will just be getting fixes for now.

Version 4.2.6 - API Fixes - New Features & Video Detection Rewrite (GitHub)

This is a big release with a bunch of new features! As always you can read about settings on the wiki here: Settings Info

 

The big change for this release is that video information is now stored within a videos.json file, this is to avoid duplicate videos being downloaded when their titles have invalid regex characters. This update will mean that you need to redownload any videos that you had downloaded before this, however you really only need to download the last x number of latest videos you have the script to look for.

 

This release had added Logging to a file, auto fetching the download server and the ability to disable ffmpeg.

There are also a bunch of fixes that you can read through below.

I changed a lot in this so if you run into any issues please contact me on Discord, Github or the LMG form.

 

If you aren't on the discord you should Come Join! Any hotfixes for bugs are posted there well in advance before hitting my GitHub or the Form.

As WAN show isn't uploaded to floatplane it is not downloaded. The only way to get it would be to use a YouTube or twitch downloader... I dunno if there is a thing that exists for automatically downloading wan but it's something that I could probably work on in the future if there is Intrest.

This update cleans up a lot of old code and add's support for downloading the WAN show off youtube as a plex series. There are also a bunch of fixes for edge determination, techquickie matching and other things.

Awesome. Fantastic work!! When updating it only updates to version 4.4.0 tho. I've tried to reinstall and update once again but it still says 4.4.0 in the settings.
