Coffee Lake scarce in Scandinavia, no K-models until 2018

snortingfrogs

This is just a rumor from SweClockers.com, based on a couple of Swedish retailers who say "the availability of Intel Coffee Lake is low on launch day and that they only get a "handful of". In addition, one of SweClocker's contacts speaks that no Nordic distributor received the unlocked Core i7-8700K, Core i5-8600K, and Core i3-8350K without launching sales with the locked sibling models Core i7-8700, Core i5-8400 and Core i3- 8100th". So this is probably click-bait, or an attempt to boost initial sales, or an excuse to price gouge.

Well it was 100% truth in Skylake and Kaby Lake but now that we have 6 cores on the latest IPC available the frequency weights a little more than it used to on quad-cores.

If I was on a budget I'd still go locked i7 on Intel's cheapest not yet announced chipset, but this rig I'm planning will break the bank hehe
