the reactions have hitboxes of just a few pixels on IE

have been forced to use IE to browse LTT from work and i found that the reactions have hitboxes that are TINY! dont have any screenshots because i cant move any files off that computer to anywhere but downloading IE should see you with the same results, also almost all the buttons at the top, like community, Forum, Store and so on look kinda strange too. And another issue that im pretty sure is IE screwing with me, random first letter capitalization. I type a word or two and then pop, big letter where there really shouldent be one. Duknow if you care about how well the site works on IE tbh but i thought id report in anyway :) 

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

If it's <IE11 then we don't support it, and issues with the clickboxes on the reactions are a browser issue rather than something that we can directly control. That said, the reputation system will be significantly updated soon, and when that happens this issue should be fixed.

Think I'm on IE8 but u haven't checked tbh. Thanks for the info though

IE8 is definitely not supported (by me, the upstream forum software devs, or most other web devs for any site). It was released 8 years ago, and doesn't support most modern web features.

Yah, might be a more recent version, IE8 is old af but I have also not used IE since IE8 basically lol

Can't install anything on my computer at work, well I can seeing as I have full admin rights but im not allowed to

ugh, just roll like me, cracked windows enterprise on my company domain :D 

 

i have my restricted domain installation partitioned off into a corner of my SSD that i boot into when the IT guys come round lol.

 

I argued for a long time that as the "Computer Systems Engineer" of a production hire company, i kinda need full control of my PC at all times, but they never budged.

look this is just a temporary job, and i work at the city planning office too in the city office. if i pull something like that i probably wont be able to get away with it. sure the IT department is really shitty and idiotic, but im still on their network, on computers that are checked atleast once a week. i used to screw with the laptops at school in ways that gave me local admin rights so i could do my school work but here, nooooooooope. my entire Northern Bee computer relies on the money il make from this job m80 id rather not do anything im not allowed to

the irony, i got a payrise when i pointed out to my boss what i had done :D

they would compleatly cut me if i did anything like that probably. which would mean that i would have worked my ass off for 3 weeks for no pay

Edge counted as IE? Only thing that works with work related sites like time managements and personal details. Chrome is installed if one wants to do other stuff.

edge actiually isnt too bad, IE however is garbage lol. but hey, it sorta still works
