We pay $50 USD for 30 up and 1 down, with a ping of 24ms on a fiber cable (or whatever there is).

My router recently died and I have been using my 10 year old Netgear G Router which caps speed to 10 MBps. My connection is actually 80 MBps UL/DL with an FUP of 600GB per month. Its around 20 USD and it is fiber and the service is decent and really quick but before this company came up it was shit literally.

I don't need Gigabit Internet because all I do is browse the web and watch content and there are no unlimited plans here sadly.

Will post new results once I get a new AC router.

My real signature is just my name written out in cursive(ahem!!) with two dots of ink at the end..... so, what did you expect from my digital one???

Updated speeds after changing my router to a newer AC variant. Price is about 35$/month for 600GB 75MBps Up/Down.

Is that from a datacenter using IP Transit from Cogent or dedicated internet access from Cogent to an office building?

My Build : Intel i7-9700K - Asus Strix Z390-E - 32GB Vengeance RGB

- Nvidia Titan Xp - 1TB Crucial MX200 SSD - Corsair AX860i Power Supply

IP Transit, I don't actually pay Cogent directly though. I pay for a redundant 10G link and they route it through the best connection at the time

FTTC free for 3 months, 10 months for 16.90€ then 31.90€.

Hello,

Simple rules:

- don't fxxx pay if it is fxxx free.

- If it works, don't update it.

- You don't know how, just do it, you will learn something.

- Test, retest, test again, and maybe it will work.

- Trust no one, think by yourself, checks facts again. Earth is not flat, dumber.

- Don't trust alternate facts. True is true, false is false. Only lies interferes.

- My favorite quote: you have a brain, don't you ?? So use it.

- Sometimes size matter !!! So stop trolling as i do myself.

- google moto was: don't be evil. My moto is: screw it.

- open source is a lifestyle.
