Hi,

If you would like any extra information feel free to ask me in the comments. And one more thing can anyone tell me what is the chip set of the Pegatron 2AD5 MOBO? I've seen a lot of answers online and i dont know which one to believe

Thanks in advance

"Men, this stuff that some sources sling around about America wanting out of this war, not wanting to fight, is a crock of bullshit. Americans love to fight, traditionally" - George.S Patton

"An Army is a team. It lives, sleeps, eats, and fights as a team. This individual heroic stuff is pure horse shit. The bilious bastards who write that kind of stuff for the Saturday Evening Post don't know any more about real fighting under fire than they know about fucking!" - George.S Patton

"Sure, we all want to go home. We want to get this war over with. But you can't win a war lying down. The quickest way to get it over with is to get the bastards who started it. We want to get the hell over there and clean the goddamn thing up, and then get at those purple-pissing Japs. The quicker they are whipped, the quicker we go home. The shortest way home is through Berlin and Tokyo. So keep moving. And when we get to Berlin, I am personally going to shoot that paper-hanging son-of-a-bitch Hitler." - George.S Patton

It would take something like an RX 480 or a gtx 1060 to start having issues and even then...  You have a pretty good CPU despite its age

Want to custom loop?  Ask me more if you are curious

It would take a lot more than a gtx 460 to be bottlenecked by an i7.

My gtx 1070 was bottlenecked by my i7 3770, buy you will be fine with a RX 460 and higher.

The idiot that said yes in the polls is a really special kind of stupid. It would take a much, MUCH faster GPU to hit a bottleneck.

Your 1070 was probably not bottlenecked

I was getting low fps comapred to other tests, and my GPU was never fully utilized, only getting 50-60% GPU usage in CPU intesive games. In Playerunknown Battlegrounds i went from 30-50fps to 60-100fps after upgrading to a i7 7700k :) Same story in Arma 2/3. I got 15-25fps before upgrading, now im getting smooth 60+fps :D I think it was a CPU bottleneck, or something else really weird.

Your gpu was probably on a pci x8 slot or something.

x8 wouldn't bottleneck a 1070. He was playing two incredibly CPU intensive games.

Still there should be no stuttering and frames shouldn't be in the 15-20s

Arma 3 is a huge shitshow. It likes a lot of very strong cores.

Yea, shitty game. Still shouldn't be 15-20s in fps the 3770k at 4.5 could probably take on the 7700k at stock

He has a 3770 that was probably running around 3.6ghz on all eight threads.

Also, a 7700k @ 4.5ghz is about 35% faster than a 3770 @ 3.6ghz.

3770k turbos to 3.9

doesn't matter anyway, his frames shouldn't have tripled after changing CPU

It turbo to 3.9ghz on a single core, not when all are under load. A 6700, for example, has a 3.4ghz base clock and a 4ghz boost clock, but it only boosts to 3.7ghz on all four cores.

Go play Arma 3. You'd be surprised.

Yes I did have it 16x because my old motherboard only had 1 PCI-E and that was 16x :P And YES my frames easily tripples in Arma 3. I did however only have 8GB DDR3 at 1333Mhz, which also is something too consider. Anyways I'm happy with higher FPS :)
