Oh and i found a converter from 12v to 48v but it also gives off 3 amps while the fan uses 48v to 0.97amps. Would that be a problem or do i need to find exact voltage with amparage to fit the fans power raiting?

3A output?

As long as its above the fan current it will work.

It's better to have more amps frmo the power supply, it won't heat up as much.

I found one that matches the fan! Thanks for all your help Enderman!

Just make sure that you don't exceed the max input current, because when you quadruple the voltage the input current will also quadruple.

So if the fan uses 1A, your DC booster will use >4A
