Where is the bottleneck lol. An i3 can handle a RX 480 with no issues, additionally I'd rather have a 4GB RX 480 over a 8GB RX 470.

It depends on the game, Rainbow Six Siege is quite demanding. And a RX 470 has no issues hitting 60 fps in that game.

You know the i3 has hyperthreading right? and for a few dollars more he could swap it up to the i3-7100? not to mention that this motherboard supports base clock overclocking. Also why would you settle for less horsepower? a RX 480 is significantly more powerful than a 470, there is no reason to get the 470 if the 480 is literally the same price.

The i3 7100 is a dumb idea, and no one should buy it, reason being, the Pentium G4560 has hyper threading as well. Basically having similar performance.

i3 has hyper-threading too... it's more powerful than the G4560 but costs 2x as much.
