Is this a good rig?

Is this a good rig for 900$, it was used on my local website and i wanted to buy it for my cousin.

MSI GeForce GTX 780
Intel Core i7-4790 3.60 GHz
MAXIMUS VII RANGER
G.Skill RipjawsX 2x4GB DDR3 1600
Fractal Design Tesla R2 650W White
 Cooler Master Nepton 120XL
Thermaltake ARMOR REVO GENE Snow Edition

It's a bit old but still useful. I have no idea how much computers cost in Finland. What currency is that?

we have € but theres also a huge fee for computer parts, R9 390 can be 350€

Do you have 20% VAT? So is that 900$ in Euros or USD?

If that is USD, that is a bad price. you can get better performance for less building brand new..

 

EDIT: @arcanesama ESPECIALLY if you have a 980ti laying around you want to throw in there. you can build a very high end system for 900 USD if you don't account for a high end GPU

Recently I have seen ex-lease i7 2600 go for $100 NZD which is what I compare other hardware to

you could probably shuffle around specific parts for cheaper models and bring the cost down a tad. you also don't need a GPU. it was just a sample, as my assumption was 900 USD, which you said it was... either way, that used system is overpriced for its hardware.

The 780 is quite old already. I'd rather go with an i5 and a better/newer GPU.

Plus, you'd be wasting a bit of money by buying that motherboard and slapping a locked CPU to it.
