AMD Polaris Giveaway

I've got a GTX 770 in my rig, however, my brother needs a pc as well, and this would help a bunch with the project.

I hope it is cool to enter into this giveaway for a family member. I'm all set for a while since I don't game much lately due to studying and have other things on my mind, but it would be cool to replace my sisters' current gpu, which is a measly EVGA GT 8600 in it (that is hard to clean for some reason), as I finally convinced them to start PC gaming more seriously (Star Citizen was the final trick) and an HP prebuilt with HD 2000 graphics will not even play emulators at a decent level. If I could win them any of those cards, it could help me spend my extra money on getting them a good monitor or better case, since I already have the mobo, cpu and psu for them.

I'm joining for my brother.

 

He's still using his Sapphire HD 6790...He's not techie enough to know these kinds of stuff...And as a brother who's somewhat techie at PC stuff...and seeing that he's struggling on playing recent games....and seeing that I have no more cash to spare to... I thought i'd give him a new GPU...if I win though...

I currently have an iGPU (Radeon HD 8670D). A dedicated graphics card would help a lot and being that I'm an AMD fan the card would be put to good use.

I have an R9 390 so I don't really need it, but it downclocks randomly, so a new card would be cool.

My current rig is my laptop. It has an i5-4200u with integrated graphics. That's it. I can run Overwatch on lowest settings with 50% render scale and get 50 frames on a good day... I need this card. I'm currently at a summer job earning some cash for my first computer build and had planned on putting an RX 480 because of its great price for amazing 1080p performance (although the monitor i copped before hand that I'll be using for the build is a 16:10 with a 1050p vertical resolution. 

 

Winning this card would be a miracle and would cut the cost of my build by about $200 US which I can put towards a better processor, (on a more responsible note) textbooks next semester, or an exhaust fan!

 

I know content of the post doesn't amount to much in a giveaway like this, but this is my sob story. Please pity me, oh mighty selector of winners!

I actually don't have a desktop rig yet, I've always used laptops do to most of my time being spent away from home. Finally got out of college and landed a good job though, so now I'm working on building up the cash to build my first rig. Actually planning on starting out with a 480 and adding a second one later.

 

My current laptop is an alienware r2 15 with an nvidea 970m.

Build: Intel S2600gz, 2x E5-2670, EVGA SC 1070, Zotac 1060 6GB mini, 48GB Micron 1333mhz ECC DDR3, 2x Intel DPS-750XB 750 watt PSU

I don't have a video card and have ddr2... No hdmi just vga but I

I have Amd radeon HD6670. The new one is better and there are some games I really want to play with that graphic card. Thanks for the giveaway though!

If I get one of those Polaris, I will build a water-cooled red rig with Crossfire, because Nvidia is too expensive to take even a single card. And sell my recently just went out-of-date gaming laptop fitted with GTX970M at a overpriced price tag. So, Gimme me dat card nao !

I have a GT220 that is missing the fan on the heatsink, so I have a spare case fan next to it for cooling.

hello i have a radeon XFX 8750 right now, and its fried. i want an upgrade because no image is showing up on screen. i tried a gtx 280 to check if it was indeed the graphics card, and it was.

I'm currently using a msi 7950 in my rig, and the reason why I'd like to upgrade is the card is starting to not be able to keep up with my current lineup of games.

Currently using a Gigabyte G1 Gaming 970. I'm honestly more keen to see the Vega cards, but would love the card to upgrade my wife's Radeon HD7870 as it's starting to show its age

I'm using a Gigabyte AMD Radeon HD 7970 in my PC.I have been looking to upgrade for newer games at 120hz. If I won a new gpu  my wife would thank you.Maybe she'll get her weekend out after all.
