Notification bug

so this bug started to occur about 24 hours ago, happened about 4~5 times

the notification just disappears "randomly" when I'm middle clicking it to open them in multiple tabs
I notice they disappear after I clicked the last one this time, but iirc it disappeared mid-way last time

so... I can't reproduce it, it's "random"

I've experienced that bug too, it's really annoying. I hope it's fixed soon.

It will be fixed in the next version. It affects all browsers, and is fixed by just opening the notification dropdown again.

It's caused by some (client side) javascript that is trying to be helpful and reload the notification menu when you get a new notification, but it doesn't work quite as it should. It's not something that we can very easily change, because the javascript is only available in its compiled form on the server. The fix is not yet available - the bug has been marked as fixed by the forum software developers, but it hasn't yet been included in a release.

The update hasn't been released by the forum software developers, and probably won't be for at least another month. Once it is released, we then have to update the themes and ensure that the custom apps that we have made are compatible, before we are able to upgrade.

I can agree this happens to me too. Sorta annoying but glad to see dev team hard at work. Keep up the good work guys!
