Post your Good Ghetto mods

Never did figure out a decent way of mounting my SSD's, and was too pissed off at my H100i to even remove it from the case when the pump failed. It sat in there for pry 6 months until I rebuilt into the H440.

It was a few years ago so no pics but my hp laptop cranked ghetto to 11. The casing broke for the screen so I built a stand out of lego to still use it. It was adjustable and everything. The built in mic died so I taped the mic from my guitar hero to a binder and plugged it into usb. The power cord failed so I cut it apart re soldered it then coated it in hot glue and zip tied it to make it sturdy.

I am the one who goes bump in the night... usually making a sandwich.

I was too lazy to sleeve my whole 24 pin mobo connector over the capacitors so I only sleeved it up to them ( about 5 inches) and secured them with super glue and zip ties. I also only sleeved the top 12 cables and one on each side of the bottom row. You'd never know though, it just looks like a sleeved cable. H440 cable management FTW!!!

My case has those wierd pcie cover slots that can't be screwed back in, So I now have tape in the back of my case, due to me being to lazy when I was diagnosing boot issues, to take the system out of the chassis.

Oh man! the power button broke on my dad's case, so we used a doorbell instead... it worked!

I'll try to get some pics later, because the case is in his attic.

The mouse pad for my mouse is a carrying case for a laptop, and then to keep my keyboard from wobbeling, I put 4 pieces of cardboard under it :D

The mouse pad for my other mouse is a random blank A4 paper, that I replace every once in a while :P

lol same here! my mousepad is a soft netbook carrying case (with a crappy (but free) netbook inside), the best mousepad I've used so far.

The cable management in under the PSU shroad in my H440. The Molex and Sata cables are literally just stuffed under there, it's quite a pain

I dunno. Nothing, really. Unless you count my fairly-nice looking anti-sag method. Or the amount of cables I crammed in the back.

Yes. Along with the Intel iGPU. Top one is my crappy 7950 3GB, bottom one is a GTX 480 Engineering Sample (1.5GB, of course).

you are't having any driver issues? I thought running two different brands the drivers would interfear with each other
