Recommendation for a graphic card that only use PCI 16x power

Last year I bought a hp Compaq elite 8300 convertible mini tower from a local universities surplus.It came with a i5 3470. I have upgraded it to 12 Gig of RAM and a 120 GB SSD and 1 TB of spinning rust

I am wanting to upgrade the video to anything better and the integrated graphics.

Because the power supply does not have any additional power connections I have been Eyeing the zotac 1650 oc. 

 

I have two questions:

1. What other options do I have for current video card

2. will there be any issues with the 320 W power supply

that cpu really isn't fast enough to justify a 1650. i'd go for something much older and cheaper to hold you over until the machine is replaced

that chip is. a 1650 makes a lot of sense there.

While a 1650 is a little bit overkill the next step down that uses PCIe power will be pretty underwhelming for what it costs compared to the 1650. I recently paired a 1650 with an i5 4590S in a SFF HP Elitedesk 800 for my dad. A GT 1030 or a GTX 1050 wasn't a heck of a lot cheaper than a 1650 and you'll get driver support and better application optimization for longer with a newer card. Flat out the 1650 I picked used under 70W and performed wonderfully for it's size and price.

I know you don't NEED low profile but honestly this card doesn't need to be full size either, the cooler on the tiny card is plenty. Temps stayed under 70C even in the cramped SFF case without hardly any ventilation.
