pure rock on i7 9700k

Is a bie quit pure rock enough cooling for the i7-9700k

It should be adequate for stock, but there are better options that you can buy in its price range if you don't have it already

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

I would go for liquid cooling for the looks and the better temps but if you want the best temps you can always get a top tier air cooler

Well on pcpartpicker Denmark, the pure rock actually seems to be pretty affordable. Its main competition is the 212 Evo

Which is cheaper for about the same performance, but the mounting system on the pure rock is better and it's a bit more stylish, so if you wanted to pay a tiny bit extra for that it's probably worth it

Being from Denmark does not limit you to Danish shops. Its EU.

 

Amazon sells Arctic Freezer 34 esports duo for about 33-37€ based on what color you want. Unbeatable value and performs a lot better than 212 or Pure rock.

Pure Rock, as well as many other budget coolers, beat EVO. So there's no point recommending it if they are at same price range.

What case and ram are you using?

Where are you shopping / located? Budget?

What kind of features are you looking for in a cooler?

Danemark? I would still take a look at Arctic Freezer 34 (E-sport series) or Alpenföhn Ben Nevis Advanced, Brocken eco Advanced, and even some silentiumPC coolers, like Fortis3 or Fera3. Or the newly introduced ID Cooling SE 224-234 (

 

IF you can fit them. The Ben Nevis Advanced is tall, and the fortis is both tall and bulky. : ) they all fit into the NZXT H510 though.

Life is really challenging. I don't always suceed: )
