Recommend me the best budget Amp/DAC for SHP9500

I just got Philips SHP9500 (because of the banger AliExpress deal) and the sub bass is almost non-existent which sucks while listening to modern dubstep and riddim tunes. I really have to crank up the 30 and 65 Hz EQ Bands and press the headphones hard against my ears in order to hear the sub-bass. Now, I'm planning to get a DAC/Amp for them soon (pls recommend me the same if you have any experience with them) not just to unlock their full potential but also to find out whether there's any boost in the low frequencies (I'm already very skeptical about the latter). Awaiting your valuable responses??

That would largely be a waste of money.

There is no potential in those things.

They roll off and stay off when it comes to bass.

You'd be better served spending that money on a pair of headphones better suited to your music of choice.

Don't you have any amplifier at home? Any stereo equipment or AV? Really? Strange times.

It's easiest to connect your computer to amplifier - then you'll have bass and treble equalizer, more power, better sound etc.

Just get a sound card that has a decent AMP (for example, Asus Xonar DGX, Xonar U5, ...) and save the money you'd spend on a decent amp/dac unit. The SHP9500 aren'thard to drive.

Yeah those headphones not really power hungry enough to warrant a amp. Just use your motherboard it's all it really needs

Its one of the best neutral sound headphones out there, at a cost now of 75 in Amazon, competing with headphones that costs 300.

Im gonna buy them. And then im gonna buy a dac/amp.

I dont know why people thrash unexpesive yet incredible products. OF COURSE there are better headphones, but the raise in quality is only marginal compared to the raise in added cost. Its all about value man...
