Are wireless mice good for gaming now?

I'm interested in a wireless mouse, but I don't really know which ones are good, if any. Is the latency even any higher than wired mice? I'm open to suggestions. Any price range.

I hate all this BS about "wIrElEsS mIcE hAvE tOnS oF lAtEnCy11!!". They've gotten so good in the past few years that they are nearly identical in terms of latency to wired mice; you have to use an extremely fast camera to capture any noticeable latency difference.

 

I would get a G403 or G603/703/whatever the new G403 equivalents are.

They never really sucked per se. Unless you were involved in e-sports. I have a Logitech G700s and love it. My only issue is the rechargeable battery it comes with is better suited as a suppository. But you can easily buy much bigger (in capacity) batteries for cheap. It has onboard memory, so your settings and profiles go with the mouse. You also have a slew of customizable buttons for really anything you want it to do. Sure it doesn't have RGB, but who cares when you have functionality?

They do add latency but if its a noticable amount by a human is up to you. Changing batteries a lot sucks though and the weight of the battery can sometimes make the mouse too heavy but you can't do anything about it

I actually saw a graph from Logitech showing that their wireless mice actually had less input latency than a wired Deathadder and Sensei. Though it did come from Logitech themselves, so I don't know how much stock I should put into that

That's promising to hear. I've seen some cool looking wireless mice from ASUS, but I don't know how well they stack up compared to Logitech as it pertains to performance. I also would prefer RGB if possible.

I have a Logitech G703 wireless gaming mouse and I don't notice any issues or delays with it. Then again, I don't do online/competitive games, only single player games (including FPS and RPG).

The 2 things which I don't like wireless mice are the battery life and weight.

Between those 2 things which I dont like, the battery life get the most portion of hate from me.

 

If only the Logitech G-Pro Wireless not that expensive for only a mice I would get it. Because it's a lightweight wireless mouse with decent battery life and superb performance, but its price makes me choose any better wired mice instead..

I'm interested in a wireless mouse, but I don't really know which ones are good, if any. Is the latency even any higher than wired mice? I'm open to suggestions. Any price range.

Wireless gaming mice have come a long way over the years, and have 1ms response just like wired mice.  Technology like Corsair's Slipstream have built in redundancies to ensure sub 1ms response is maintained and there are no connection issues while gaming.  If you get a chance, visit a local retailer and see which mouse feels more comfortable in the palm of your hand.  There is no point in considering a mouse that doesn't feel comfortable to you regardless of performance.

 

As far as options, Harpoon Wireless comes with Slipstream technology, and is an entry level gaming mouse.  Dark Core will have a higher end Pixart sensor, Qi charging (SE model), and more customizable buttons and side grips.  Let me know if you have any questions about either mouse.

I doubt it. Just pointing out they eliminated one of the issues you have with wireless. So I've heard anyway.
