probably not a good idea, I've personally killed a psu from not allowing air to get to it .. took my PC off the desk and sat it directly on the carpet forgetting the psu was facing down

What case are you using?

Which way is the PSU orientated? (Fan face up inside the case or facing down)

Just turn it around, so it's intaking air from the bottom and just don't set it on carpet or similar (if you have to, place it on a piece of wood so it has some breathing room from the bottom).

the fan is facing up because of the oled screen so its upwards to the psu cover

What case are you using? Does it have a PSU shroud?

What is with all the Asus ROG Thor users today asking this same question...

ASUS should've known that the majority of PSU get mounted fanside down .. no idea why they wouldn't design it around that fact .. but for the 10 year warranty, thats a long time of minimal air to the PSU .. wonder if they've made that able to void your warranty .. i just use an outlet plug and then plug my system into that to see how much I'm pulling from the wall

Maybe but pointless.

Its just an overpriced Seasonic unit.

You can get the Original for less money.

Or something else from someone else.

PSU can be oriented fan up or fan down. It doesn't matter.  Gravity has no effect.

But if you have a PSU shroud, how are you going to see the power meter??????

Some cases have a cutout on the side for the PSU. E.g. Phanteks does this on the Enthoo Pro M.

I don't think they mentioned it. I just know that some cases have a shroud, but would allow them to see the side of the PSU.
