My Benq XL2730Z seems to completely stop displaying with g-sync on. Quite the let down, messed with it for a couple hours this morning, hoping I'm just doing something wrong, lol.

LG 34UC79G-B - Ultrawide 1080p 34" monitor, works great with G-sync. Just make sure you turn on Freesync in the monitor panel settings first :D

F#$k timezone programming. Use UTC! (See XKCD #1883)

PC Specs:

Ryzen 5900x, MSI 3070Ti, 2 x 1 TiB SSDs, 32 GB 3400 DDR4, Cooler Master NR200P

How do you test that it works? I downloaded the update and enabled free sync on my monitor. Now what?

You can use an online tool: https://www.testufo.com/vrr

I don't really understand what i'm looking at. How do I know if its working or not?

Basically, the top of the frame should look completely smooth, while the bottom will have jitter if you have some sort of VRR (i.e. G-Sync) on.

Nvidia also has a demo tool: https://www.nvidia.com/coolstuff/demos#!/g-sync

My Samsung SHG50 works. Though not without some noticeable ghosting, especially around the 70-ish FPS range.

Setting it to "Ultimate Engine" significantly improves it, but it still feels less smooth overall compared to just setting it to 144Hz and adjusting the panel overdrive manually.

running a 1070 here with an MG279q, all is working good. I used CRU to bump the free sync range from 35-90 up to 60-144 and enabled g-sync. not had any issues so far other than a small flick to a black screen with PUBG but this is so quick and does not happen very often, unsure if this is PUBG or the drive but I am very pleased with the outcome of this as I play games such as world of Warcraft which has a rep for low FPS in cities and raiding it is nice to have a smooth look with all the chaos that is going on.

Might be worth making an LTT spreadsheet in order to keep track of setups that work and take a note oh what issue people have cropped up with and possible fixes

The Samsung S34J550 is also known as SJ55W and it's perfectly g-sync compatible ?

Gigabyte auros AD27QD - don’t think it works. Monitor automatically switches free sync on, Nvidia sees panel as g sync but when you check the box at th 3rd options shit starts going weird. Mouse stuck in top left corner, not able to click any icons on desktop OR it just switches itself off when starting up a game (CSGO BFV cities skylines ) and goes to sleep mode. Need to kill the game in task manager to get the screen back to normal.

if i ‘enable g-sync’ and leave the bottom checkbox at part 3 unchecked, screen runs fine. Not sure if it’s actuslly running g sync tho

If you haven't found yet enable it in the monitor

Tested my old LG 29UM67-P at 75hz. No significant issues except having to alt tab out and back in with certain games at certain times to get rid of flickering and let the Gsync kick in.

I have pixel response set to high.

Games tested: Total War Warhammer 2, Division 2, Skyrim SE, Wolfenstein 2, AC Odyssey. Works fine in these games so far.
