Hi guys, I'm looking into buying and new PC and I was wondering if the Dark Rock Pro 4 would fit in the Phanteks P350x.

If no can you suggest me some good budget cases ? Thanks

To find out, go to Phanteks website and look up the spec sheet. It'll have a cooler clearance number.

Then, go to BeQuiet!'s website and look at the height of the cooler.

You'll find your answer. Also check the RAM clearance while you're there.

I think answering his first question would have been more helpful, instead of what you did, which really wasn't helpful at all.

Check the case dimensions and compare them to the cooler's. All the info is there, bruv, you just gotta look.

The Dark Rock Pro 4 is 163 mm tall while the P350X only officially supports coolers up to 160mm tall.

Technically, it could fit (and I believe it would, they usually quote a couple of mm short), but it's not officially supported

I think I’ll keep the Phanteks P350x but instead I’ll pick the Dark rock 4.

Or is the Pro model really that good ?

im planning on overclocking my Ryzen 2700x

The none pro variant should be just fine for your use being 200w TDP cooler. Even when overclocked ryzen chips are relatively cool.

edit:

BeQuiet pro sereis uses the same cooler/fan setup, with a modified cpu block for the TR4 socket. So, imo, it would be overkill

  • 3 years later...

Good news to anyone also asking this question! I know this is an old post, but I took the risk and bought a Dark Rock Pro 4 and put it in my P350x and it fits no issues! It's very, VERY close to the glass, but not touching, and I didn't have to do any trickery to get it in. The glass panel slides in as normal. Look at the image I attached to this post. Just providing info to the people who also want this cooler/case.
