    LTT MODELS ARCHIVE

Hey there guys! Today, after a discussion in @Maki Role 's build log Loramentum we thought it might be a good idea to post a model archives thread! What this is here is a place to discuss, request and post models. I've got a google drive set up with folders for various types of models, and you can check it out HERE!

    RULES
DO NOT DELETE ANYTHING IN THE ARCHIVES THAT YOU DID NOT UPLOAD YOURSELF. The subfolders are free to edit, and as a result, I believe you can delete anything inside them. don't do that. the public folder is view only, so we don't risk someone deleting an entire folder. Please be civil and courteous. if you have criticism, make it constructive. When requesting a model, please remember that other people, if they do so choose to make the model for you, are taking their own time to help you, so don't make an ass of yourself. When Uploading or creating models, please remember that others may not have the same programs available to you.
    REFERENCES FOR MODELING
PCIe Specifications (there are two versions in the archives. As the PCI bracket has not changed, this is relatively moot. please refer to pages 75 and 76 for the vital information surrounding PCIe brackets.) ATX Specifications (this covers ATX board layout, screw hole positioning, motherboard rear IO - but not PCI/PCIe brackets)
Please report dead links. not all of these will link to the archives

    PROGRAMS FOR MODELING

    FREE
Google Sketchup (free and paid version. very common) Blender (free) PAID/SEMI FREE
Autodesk Products: AutoCAD, Inventor, 3DS Max, Maya (All autodesk products are free if you are currently a student.)
    REQUESTS MADE
Samsung 840 evo SSD   This is where requests are kept until they've been created and uploaded. the submitter of a request may ask for it to be removed from the list. I put the SSD up as an example, and also because I know Maki Role already has a very nice model of it. I'll be doing my best to provide models of parts in the requests on a timely basis, but please do remember that I have my own projects and real life, and those will be prioritized accordingly. (I'm also terrible at textures. so...)

1607 Base Clock (MHz) 1733 Boost Clock (MHz)   And this is running 2.1 Ghz? Overclocking a golden sample? You lying f*ckers.   That being said, I am VERY interested in seeing what 14nm FF LPP can do now in AMD's graphics cards.

BTW guys, this file apple has been ordered to provide doesn't decrypt the phone. All it does is change the unlock procedures so that the FBI won't get locked out while brute-forcing the password

Soooo.... Hard to run now equals shit port? Holy fuck you guys are conceited. A shitty port is one with technical issues - memory leaks, graphical glitches, sub-par settings options, locked fov, limited resolution options, poor CPU optimization, etc. This game goes none of that. You people are expecting groundbreaking visuals for the same performance requirements of the past. We are solidly within the era of diminishing returns, so something punishing won't look as ahead-of-its time like these games used to be in the past.
This should also be taken as an excellent example of what proper low-level APIs can do, given how this runs on the Xbox.

You're not describing left vs right in that diagram. You're describing political movements that can on some level be defined by the sides of the triangle. Fascism definitely doesn't allow for social freedom, so you're right on that account.

I use what's app to talk to the one Brazilian I know and keep up with. I like the encrypted nature and it's better for sending audio clips then any other service I use.

carolkarine got a reaction from Notional in Nvidia introduces a new Gameworks feature in Just Cause 3 : Waveworks
with the battlefield franchise, yeah I'm fine with it. I'll put 2 or 3 hundred hours into that game - if I buy the premium subscription and the base game, that's 110 dollars. I just paid around fifty cents per hour of gameplay, something I can't say about the majority of single player titles (only Witcher 2 and 3 have broken 1 dollar/ 1 hour) The problem with battlefront is that if you can get that amount of play out of it, it is still worth the money - but there isn't enough content to hold my interest. I won't measure a multiplayer game's value in maps or number of gamemodes, I'll measure it in value for the time. I feel single player games, especially story based titles, can get away with less time for more money, because each part of the story (should) feel new. Multiplayer games, even if fun, still can get stale, and therefore there needs to be more replayability (or more time per dollar). If the game can hold my interest with what it has, long enough for me to feel satisfied with my purchase, then I feel it has enough content. Battlefield has that with it's premium service, IMO, and battlefront does not. (I will add a caveat that I have issues with the maps added splitting the playerbase. but this is true with all map packs and not just the premium idea, and not just battlefield)

As for EA, I could care less if they nickel&dime mobile, or if "once great" studios now don't exist anymore. I do dislike their insistence for always-online functionality.

I do think that stuff like the Sims was going to be nightmare from the start. You have a new game that isn't adding any groundbreaking features, competing with an older game that has loads of cheap DLC and has way more content. They needed to add something HUGE to make up for the complete lack of content compared to the enormous Sims 3.

Nvidia isn't pushing the graphics industry forward. I don't see a piece of tech that they've created that's truly caused a game to stand out. Battlefront, despite it's lackluster gameplay, is almost a shoo-in for best looker - and it's all in house by DICE. It also runs better than any gameworks game. Gameworks is a sham marketing campaign used to both con lazy developers into implementing code not strictly designed for their engine (something which I suspect causes a large number of issues perf and stability wise) and to con gamers into buying their GPUs for added effects. I actually respect Physx more, even if it is locked to Nvidia cards - which is okay. I don't like being unable to run it, but at least my performance is degraded by it, like some gameworks effects do

I'll attribute this to the type of developer (a lazy one) that would rather implement nvidia's code than write their own; rather than to nvidia themselves. There's also something to say about a middleware product not integrating as nicely compared to a fully custom piece of work built with one engine in mind.

It's not like a defect in the speaker system, the seatbelt is a major safety feature. It's good on them to voluntarily recall all of them in order to fix it, but it's also something that must be addressed.
