Joshua reacted to GoodBytes in Windows BSOD in Startup after a System Update
System file got corrupted. What you can do is boot from your recovery disk (or Windows 10 setup USB flash drive), pick your language, then pick "repair" option instead of "install".
(it's a small link at the bottom left of the window, if I recall correctly).
From there you can do a System Restore. This will allow you to bring back your system in time, before you installed the update, and your system should be operational. If it says that it can't find any restore points, than you had System Restore disabled on your system (or you happen to delete all your restore points before installing that update, or ran a defrag disk software, beside Windows one that doesn't check for restore points and corrupts them (most of them do)).
If you don't have any restore points, or it doesn't help, then what you can do, is upgrade your Windows 10 with your Media Creation Tool prepared USB flash drive. This should keep your files (although I always suggest to back them up before, in the case the issue was caused by faulty RAM or storage or OC'ed system) and your games and programs, but fix the faulty OS file(s). This should be easier and faster than a clean install, or trying to identify and fix the broken system files.

Joshua got a reaction from GoodBytes in Windows 10 Cumulative Update Problem
For future reference, error 0x800700d can almost always be fixed by booting to installation media and running sfc /scannow on the problematic installation.
That error usually means one of the system files relied upon for upgrade is corrupt. I can assure you sfc /scannow will resolve as I run all the updates at my workplace!

Joshua got a reaction from Alexb770 in Just Built New PC and it's not recognizing HDD or Ethernet cable
When you go to the Network and Sharing center within Control panel, what connections are shown?
If your HDD is not in bios then either of the cables are faulty. Is the HDD powering on? Is SATA cable correctly inserted to both Mobo and Hdd?

I agree. This is unfeasible.

Joshua got a reaction from Railgun in New Assassins Creed or Rainbow 6 game?
You're forced to use shitty Uplay either way. RSS is another fps. Assassins Cree is another Assassins creed. I recently upgraded and I was disappointed with the choice, doesn't really matter either way imo.

Your CPU will not hold it back any different to the other one - to clarify, it will hold them both back

Joshua got a reaction from P e r s e p h o n e in Payed MODs are back.
I don't know where the hell you pulled that piece of information from. I'm typing this on a Ducky keyboard. Ducky did not event keyboards, LEDs, MX switches, cables, rubber, PCB but are building on all of those inventions. Additionally, if someone was to release custom key caps for my keyboard, they would charge me and be perfectly legal. It is NOT illegal to make profit out of modifying someone's work.
My main point here is that people shouldn't treat mods any differently than any other product. People pay for posters, that have no difference to my wall other than cosmetic. It's a picture printed on paper. Can cost £10. It is still a product that is somewhat desirable.
Fair enough

I knew someone was going to take it literally, who the hell in their right mind would use two!? Most people here would be lucky to use one!

Joshua got a reaction from incarnate in What GPU should I get
Get a list first of everything else, make sure you can afford all the other shit you want before blowing more money on a beefier GPU. If you skimp out on other stuff now, you'll only be paying for it later down the line.
