I swear, around half my likes on the forum but be thanks to my job and this thread

PC came in today with a bunch of things wrong with it, these won't be in order of discovery as I've forgotten, there were too many to keep the correct order.

1: All the drives (ODD excluded) installed upside down, not that bad but very odd.

2: Around 4x the amount of thermal paste that you're meant to have, was gooped (is that a word) around the cpu PCB

3: Possibly the result of number 2, there was some thermal paste inside the socket.
 

4: Phanteks cooler was installed without using the black stand off things

5: Fan was removed from Phanteks cooler which was also oriented a bit differently top - bottom airflow with only a fan on the side panel and one on the back of the case.

6: mATX standoffs used for an ATX motherboard, motherboard is having issues now.

7: motherboard looks like it's had something sticky spilled on the southbridge heatsink

8: in msconfig set max threads to 6 for an i7 6700

9: For pure gaming (mostly JC 3) paired a 6700 (non k) with a high end air cooler, 8GB RAM (not really enough for JC 3) and a GTX 960.

I'm fairly sure that's everything, may update post if I find the tenth thing...

Edit: 10: Pulled off ODD cover for some reason, unsure as to why (he bought it less than a month ago)

actually the twin mustang came after the p 38 lighting and it was produced just not in large numbers. also not sure where i would find a locomotive salvage yard

Oh deary me... the Q60 is pretty, and I cant wait to see it in person mid-february. 400 HP (350 lb-ft) from a twin turbo V6 in the sportier one, and 300 hp (295 lb-ft) from the lower model. Available in either RWD or AWD and with only a 7 speed transmission, so RIP the traditional manual. Supposedly they also sourced an inline-4 from Mercedes for the base model, which is rated for 208 hp (258 lb-ft).
 
Call me crazy, but this production ready model looks better than the concept I saw last year. And it looks like a baby S class coupe to boot (sort of).
 

Well, it was a busy weekend for my friends and I. We blitzed by buddies Chevette ice racer in the hopes we could get it prepped in time for the 2016 season, which starts in a couple weeks. What kind of prep did it need? A fully custom turbo install.  
 
This is the most ghetto turbo install most of you will probably ever see. The primary goal is; it just has to work. Turbo is the same one we used on our MR2 race car a few years back, the TD04 13T from a stock 02 WRX mounted to a hand-made turbo manifold fabricated by a very talented good friend of ours. Everything else we had to "make" ourselves using only basic tools. No drill press, no milling machine or anything like that. 
 
In place of the stock carburetor we had to make a flange then somehow mount the MR2's old stock SC throttle body to it. To do this we had to learn how to weld aluminum right then and there. In my friend's shop he luckily has a nice mig welder which we adapted with the proper wire and gas for welding aluminum. Let me tell you, welding aluminum is not easy! lol. We got the hang of it well enough to make the new intake. Looks horrible, but again, it just has to work. Also had to fab up a new down-pipe flange for the turbo. That was actually very easy for me to do as I made the previous one for this turbo when we had it on the MR2.

That miter saw with a carbide blade is what we used to cut all the aluminum piping and exhaust piping. Did an amazing job and made nice clean cuts with almost no need to de-bur.
