Not 100% sure, but i think it may have been related to the memory controller on the cpu, because of the limited tests i did then, it never crashed during short-ish cpu intensive tasks, only with a high number of browser tabs or a surveilance software i was using at the time that was memoey intensive.

I ended up swapping it with a socket and motherboard compatible xeon-w and it has not crashed since, but the cpu did crash when used in the system the xeon came from.

Your problem may be similar to mine but it also may not. Before jumping to conclusions, i would advise removing any other pci devices from your machine other than the gpu since that ryzen has no igpu. That does include m.2 or u.2 drives and things like mini pcie or m.2 wifi cards not just regular pci devices and test the system with each ram stick in each dimm slot. Might also want to turn off any auto OC setting like DOCP or any kind of cpu boost. Because i more recently had crashes in a skylake system and after a lot of trial and error, it was because of a cheap pci-usb3 controller, even though a lot of the symptimps were similar to the faulty i5.

I don't think so. My friend's CPU works and after some researching, I found out if I disable all cores except for 1, my PC boots up. It has to the the CPU

You didn't buy directly from AMD, you will have to go to the vendor that you bought the cpu from for RMA. They will provide you with the steps. Not sure what consumer law in Australia is like, but they didn't release long ago and should get you a replacement.

The Blower models have heat issues which means the fan runs at very high speeds and produces a lot of noise. The Pulse will run about 20-30*C cooler on both core and memory and will produce about half the noise while doing so. Basically, while the one you listed is a jet engine, the Pulse is barely audible.

The above build is solid, except for the GPU and Power Supply. The Asus TuF model has MASSIVE overheating issues. Get a Sapphire Pulse, Power Color Red Devil or MSI Mech. The TuF models are horrible and will fail very very quickly due to the overheating memory.

The Power supply, while decent, is a budget unit. Consider a Corsair TXM model or a Be Quiet Pure Power Gold

In general, Samsung SSDs are very overpriced for a gaming PC, so they should never be your first choice.

B450 motherboards from MSI with the word Max in the name are guaranteed compatible with third gen ryzen, so they're important to consider.

Well if you are not worrying too much about the budget than the i5 8600k would be a GREAT option at your budget, going right to the 400 cap.

If you'd prefer to save some money while maintaining great performance than you can opt for the Ryzen 5 2600 or 2600x.

Get the 2600, the X there doesnt give you a useful feature unless you prefer letting things work at stock settings.

MSI's B450 boards are decent for the price, but not their B350 (and X370). Those suck

That is also a good board. If you want to overclock, consider a X470 board if you have the budget.

They are my personal favourite headset. They are great for gaming and listening to music. With that said, my pair finally died (right ear cup is no longer working) after 3 years so I've moved over the Fnatic edition ones that Steelseries sent me to check out, but it makes me a little bit less confident that simply treating them well will prevent them from breaking as I've said at times in the past.

As JK Vengeance said, there will be soundcard added to the build. The adapter that I showed to you earlier is mPCIe ---> PCI-e x1 adapter and it converts mPCIe slot where wifi card is, to PCI-e x1 slot so i can use better soundcard :) Soundcard is going to be Asus Xonar D2X and it is 1cm longer than motherboard :D

Also, I found some leftover carbon vinyl from my previous project so I decided to cover that ugly green pcb and tinfoil cable :)

I guess you dont mind wireless if your flexible right?
Personaly im all over wireless because i dont like cables

I haven´t tried all that many but i can tell you abit of those i have.

    Logitech G930:
Good: Good sound and great mic, never had any complains about either from friends or others over skype, the 9 hours life is plenty, just hook it up once your done and its fully loaded when you get back or plug it in and your good to go eitherway. they also sit nicely on the head,
Looks wise...hmm, personaly i think they look sweet.
Bad: they are not the most durable headset i have, the plastic parts holding the earcuffs on mine broke and this is a known issue that many who ownd a pair knows of, but thats pretty much the only downside.
Personal opinion: They did last for around 2 years for me and with some nice glue i could fix the platic that broke.

Creative Recon3D Omega: (includes a External soundcard)
Good: Great sound and great mic, id say the sound and mic are better then the G930, but this could be all thanks to the external soundcard, idunno :P and the battery last around as long as G930

Bad: Terrible Ear cuffs!..well the deph in them is bad, your ears will touch the speakers! i actualy had to take off the padings from my G930 and add them ON my Recon3D´s Padding to make them feel comfy, the Recon´s pads are also small. otherwise they sit nicely on the head, the headset also feels very....plastic, like cheap plastic unlike the G930.
Instal issues, it took me awhile to get them to work fully, and sync them with the Wireless Soundcard.
Personal opinion: If you can get a workaround the Ear cuffs then this Headset+ External Soundcard is great, and you can plug this thing into your consol IF you got one (xbox 360 and Ps3) im going to keep mine and tinker with the cuffs.

I have another headset but its bluetooth and i use it mostly for my phone, the overall quality is below those two above but i love them anyway, they look funny on the head  :P

Aaaannd thats the only two i can only recomenand :P i was tempted to get a Corsair Vengence 2000 but i got the Recon3D instead because the sound quality was better. but yeah...crap comfort...

I hope other people can give you some more suggestions
