I mean IOT devices connected to cell network. Phones are obvious devices but finding biscuit sized devices that are hidden in somewhere wont be that easy. Call the cops and if they dont take it seriously file a complaint. Invasion of personal privacy is not a matter that can be dismissed.

making a NAS with old parts is perfect
personally i'd go for FreeNAS because i know that software better, and didn't had the time to look into unRAID
but if you know unRAID i see no issue with you selecting that.

Do make sure that the drives you group are all the same size (or close to) as the smallest drive will decide what space is used, and you can't partition on FreeNAS.
so make a group with 2x256
make a group with the 1TB drive (less important data)

i've never connected a NAS via wifi, not sure why you would want to, you can drop the device anywhere, so why not next to a router, or even your ISP's device, and plug in a cable
you'll be able to connect to it via wifi as it doesn't matter where it is physically

run FreeNAS from an old 4GB stick and you'll have a decent system

thx for your solution. In my last post i mentioned that it was my fault that cpu had 100% utilisation, even if that only shown in the task manager, in core temp, the load was about 70%-80%-90% on each core. I ve changed the games priority and i also installed 16 more gigs of ram so now everything is fine. Cheers

Did your motherboard come with a label on the box explicitly saying it ships compatible with Ryzen 5000 series? If not, you likely need to update your BIOS to gain support. Unless the board supports flashing the BIOS without a CPU, you'll need to get your hands on a 3rd gen Ryzen CPU to do a BIOS update with. Not really anything else you can do.

    i think she'll notice
but yes get a minimum of 8 gigs ram
and the SSD <--- biggest impact
this will give her a big impact in speed
but remember you can't turn a donkey into a racehorse

i think that would do just fine for minecraft
as you said it already minecraft is more on cpu then gpu
so a good cpu is crucial and AMD is good for gaming these days.

myself i'm never a big fan of integrated gpu's and i'll always put in an extra gpu but this is just because i play a bigger variation of games.
just do yourself a favor for the future alsways make sure your psu is able to handle it if you add a gpu
and your case has the room for it.
Could save you some euro's in the future if you change interest from minecraft to who knows what game
