    I've spent the past few days thinking about this post and have yet to figure out what you mean... I'd recommend upgrading to latest version of bios, stock my same laptop got 621cb plugged in. They are quite nice laptops for $550 though, I've been enjoying mine since I've gotten it. I only could get 550cb on the bios it came with, latest is 1.19. Messing with TDP and power delivery restrictions I was able to get upto 668cb though.

    It is quite nice having significantly smaller vertical black bars, and if the content is centered properly throughout a video you can sometimes get away with zooming it to fit ?

      Ah I relate, I got a 4770k this week but have no board to put it in... Wanted to upgrade my sleeper build from the FX 8120 cause it's what I'll put in my college dorm or apartment once I go to college. Rather not have a $1000 computer in a dorm. :P Also gives me an excuse to mess with more hardware.

    Have you considered looking on ebay for a cpu cooler from an all in one prebuilt computer? Majority are pretty compact and blower style so that would be nice for just getting the heat from the cpu directly out of the dreamcast shell.
