Privatech reacted to Princess Luna in Shold I tighten my CPU cooler?
Temps looks perfectly fine and overtighting your CPU cooler can actually damage it so just leave it as is.

Privatech got a reaction from Arrogath in Shold I tighten my CPU cooler?
My mistake i was testing with Minecraft cause Apex was still downloading. Idle temps are around 43 degrees and around 68 degrees when gaming

Those temps are great. Nothing wrong with them. Sounds like you have your cooler mounted properly and no need to attempt to tighten it down anymore.

Privatech got a reaction from nox_ in i need help with my 2 TB WD Drive
Your HDD shouldnt impact on loading Windows.
Most people dont know this but SSDs are slower in case:
They have really low storage like 120GB or 240GB
Clean your HDD. after some time data on HDD will be scattered around the disc inside which means slow loading times.
https://macpaw.com/how-to/how-to-make-computer-faster Use this to make your HDD faster. Defragment it and youll see better numbers.
You could also have downloaded malware without knowing.

If there's an integrated GPU should try if that works.

Privatech reacted to The Torrent in 3600X or 2600X with liquid cooler
liquid coolers only for aesthetics, no point overclocking ryzen 3000 ive been told as not worth it due to they already working so high anyway.
got 3600 anyway much better for ram overclocks.

Privatech reacted to TheSLSAMG in 3600X or 2600X with liquid cooler
Between the two, the 3600X will perform better even with the stock Wraith Spire. I run one on my 3600X and it keeps the chip at reasonable temps.
I'd probably recommend the 3600 over the X as it's a better value, but I preferred the 3600X because of the higher stock clocks.

but why get a Hyper 212, when you can get an arctic freezer 34?

Privatech reacted to star_pilot475 in 3600X or 2600X with liquid cooler
I’d go for the 3600 and upgrade your cooling if need be down the line. You always want to go for more performance than flashy looks with an AIO. Maybe you can pick up a Hyper 212 or something like that for cheap to cool the 3600.

Get the R5 3600 instead and shift the money you'd save into a decent air cooler.

Privatech reacted to 5x5 in Gigabyte or MSI?
1 - don't buy based on brand
2 - don't trust userbenchmark - that site is a joke and only functions as SEO spam. It's not reliable and the numbers on it are imaginary
3 - why not 3600?
4 - why not a 2060 Super or 5700?
5 - The Tomahawk Max is the best B450 board in terms of power delivery while the Strix would offer better firmware

Privatech reacted to 5x5 in Gigabyte or MSI?
Don't buy hardware based on looks - buy based on performance, quality and reliability

Privatech got a reaction from Princess Luna in 970 EVO Plus 512 GB or 860 EVO 250GB with 1TB HDD
Thanks for telling me. I found the Intel 660p is really cheap and fast and has 1TB. Im going for that. Its the same price for better performance. Samsung is sometimes overpriced.

Privatech reacted to vjizzle2384 in 5050 RGB on a Gygabyte motherboard
Gigabyte use these connection For rainbow colors like digital led strips you have touse 5Volt VDG
And for any other type of RGB you use 12Volt GRB or GRBW
It doesn’t matter what brand the LEDs are as long as it has these connections it will work.

Nice benches. Definitely shows that RAM speed does matter quite a lot. Also please peal off the protection plastic. It looks so wrong.

Privatech reacted to Mira Yurizaki in IPS or TN for a new gaming monitor
Get an IPS panel. Even at 24" you'll likely see off-angle color changes even if you're looking at the monitor head on.
Response times are largely meaningless as well these days.

Privatech reacted to Turtle Rig in IPS or TN for a new gaming monitor
Ya I got a AOC, First one came for some reason my fonts had red in them so we returned it and bought another one coming from micro center I believe, and it came damaged,, the bezel is all broken not proper. So I don't trust AOC and will never get anoter AOC monitor. The cheap bezel is all fuked up I don't know how to say it better. Then in less then 6 months passed they stopped selling the monitor I got. You can't find it anywhere. Why aren't they selling it anymore. Very fishy. fuk AOC imo

I will never touch AOC with a ten foot pole my friend. Im telling you with my cheap bezel that is all messed up and botched. This should never ever happen. Fuk them if they cant even make a proper bezel then wtf is the point. Fishy company go with Acer or ASUS or LG

Privatech reacted to celerystruct in IPS or TN for a new gaming monitor
I'd op for the IPS monitor.
TN has a very small viewing angle so it you swing your chair too far to the side or tend to slump into your seat you'll need to adjust your monitor frequently.
It's honestly not a big deal but on the few times where TN panels do inconvenience you it gets annoying.

Privatech reacted to Boinbo in IPS or TN for a new gaming monitor
Imo I would go with the AOC, because from other people's stories, Acer can seem unreliable, or not up to par with competitors.
