Gigabyte use these connection For rainbow colors like digital led strips you have touse 5Volt VDG

And for any other type of RGB you use 12Volt GRB or GRBW

It doesn’t matter what brand the LEDs are as long as it has these connections it will work.

Hi!

Im buying components for my first build and i couldn't find this anywhere else. Can RGB led strips intended to be connected to motherboards made by brands such as MSI, AsRock and Asus compatible with a Gygabyte Motherboard RGB pin header and will it work with the RGB fusion 2.0 software.

Gygabyte RGB headers:

  • 1 x RGB (RGBW) LED strip header (Pins are in this order [12V][G][R][.B][W] )

  • 2 x digital LED strip headers
  • 2 x digital LED strip power select jumpers

MSI RGB Headers:

  • 1 x 2pin LED Power connector

  • 2 x 5050 RGB LED strip 12V connectors (JRGB1~2) (Pins are in this order [12V][G][R][.B] )
  • 1 x WS2812B Individually Addressable RGB LED strip 5V connector (JRAINBOW1)
