I don’t have a new enough phone that I need a lot of dongles (iPhone SE's got a headphone jack) but with all my other tech, I’ve gotta use a stupid dongle.

My daily drivers are Corsair HS60s, little big and bulky and they do get hot after while but they were cheap, and they’ve got awesome sound for the price.

It really is a pain. We have truly entered into the "age of dongles"...

These really are the best...

Nah if that's the case memory makers wont bother making 16Gb chips which allow 32GB non-REG sticks.

Any regular xb1 controller since 2016 has bluetooth. The old elite controller doesn't have bluetooth but the new 'elite 2" does.
 
If you're not sure, look at the top section surrounding the xbox button. If it's the same color/texture as the main body, it's new. If it's the same color as the bumpers, it's old.

No, higher frequency ram would still benefit greatly, even with a dedicated gpu. OCing the HyperX could technically accomplish the same thing, but then you’d have to worry about the stability of the overclock

Because you’re running Ryzen (according to your signature at least) I would go with the $100 Team Force kit. Ryzen benefits greatly from fast ram.

Thank you, love the chair and I built the PC to be able to run modern games and VR. Prior to this, I was sitting in an uncomfortable wooden kitchen chair using a slow mac mini with a dual core i5 from 2011.

Ah, that’s alright. That’s a good point that you brought about tilt/height adjust. I’ve gotten used to it living with a tv as my monitor (literally no desk either, it was just on a tv stand and I would sit on the floor in front of it lol)

I remember years ago bouncing off the walls as a kid when my Uncle brought me home a 286 laptop from his workplace (Xerox) with Windows 3.0 and maybe 2 megabytes of RAM...I thought, "Wow my first laptop!" Then I realized how worthless it really was when Pentiums and Win95 were the 'norm'...LOL
