- When I was 7 or 8 it was still a time when nobody knew anything about computers, so I found out I could change simple things (delete shortcuts, change browser homepage, etc.) and people would beg me to fix it like I just put a voodoo curse on the computer. It was amazing.
 
- My mom still has her old Mac Pro from the 90's that doesn't even boot up because she says it's "perfectly fine."
 
- She once offered to lend me the less than standard definition monitor that came with it, but ONLY if I was very careful with it as it's very expensive. I laughed so hard I nearly died.
 
- I one finished explaining how much more powerful the PC I wanted to build was than out mid 2010 iMac with an i3 and 20$ GPU we had (and still have). But I couldn't convince her. She finally conceded that "PC's are more powerful, but Macs are faster." I then went and died in a hole.
 
- Everyone in my family swears that Macs are more durable, even though no one in the family has ever owned a Mac that's functioned properly for more than a week.
 
- Even if I can prove that it wasn't me that broke a computer, and it was something that somebody else did, everyone always that I somehow broke it by breaking the suspension of disbelief. I'm pretty sure my family thinks that computers work on the same principle as Wiley Coyote running in mid-air off a cliff.
 
- My dad still maintains that PC's get viruses constantly, even though the last time I saw him using one was from a perspective 3 feet lower to the ground.
 
- No matter what I say, I don't think anyone's ever shut off a computer in the house but me.
 
- I once accidentally deleted some system files, and instead of letting me repair the install, my mom lugged the iMac to the apple store, waited 2 hours, and then they repaired the install.
 
- My mom refuses to buy things for me on steam, if she ever gets me a game, we have to drive down to game-stop.
 
- If someone in the house is doing something stupid tech-related, they get furious at me for trying to correct them, but afterwards I'm always the one who they call upon to fix it, and then get mad at me for not fixing it.
 
- Everyone in my family is convinced the more storage you have the faster your computer is
 
- People in my family treat computers like a religion. If I try and say anything contradictory to what they think I'm labeled a "heathen"

The general consensus around here seems to be that Gigabyte should be avoided whenever possible.

Is it fucked up that this isn't surprising anymore? It just seems like a weekly routine.

To you yes, to me I'd rather the office be vacant than have Hillary in charge. Anyone selling influence to foreigners should not be allowed in office, that women is a corrupt piece of trash. -Close the border by building a wall so it would be much more difficult for illegals to come in and make Mexico pay for that wall (if not cut off all the foreign Aid to Mexico and impose tariffs on all products made from Mexico)
-Deport illegal immigrants out of U.S. as it is costing the U.S. billions of dollars from wellfare and making it much harder for legal American Citizen worker to compete in entry level jobs.
-Stop Muslims from entering the country temporarily unit they can be properly vetted.
-Reform immigration by selecting applicants of what they can contribute through merit.
-Stop the companies (like Carrier, Ford, Nabisco, etc...) from leaving the U.S. by making it hard for those companies to leave or sell their products back to the U.S. by imposing tariffs or closing loop holes.
-Impose trade sanctions (tariffs) for nations (like China and Japan) that do currency manipulations until they behave.
-Abolish NAFTA and TPP trade agreements which is responsible for manufacturing jobs leaving the country.

-Remove Obamacare as it is virtually impossible for small business to afford to hire employees due to high cost of benefits associated with hiring employees due to Obama care.
-Remove common core as it is costing tax payers billions of dollars while it also lowered the education standard by average student then let each state decide on how they want to run their education system
-Lower the tax for the middle class and make the super complicated tax system much simpler.
-Take care of veterans by making it much more easier for veterans to get health care assistance by allowing them to pick which hospital institution (private or public) they want and they government will pay for the medical costs.
-Remove the artificial lines for health insurance companies across the nation so monopolies will be abolished and encourage competition thus raising the quality and lowering the prices.
-Promote energy independence by not relying on Saudi Arabian Oil and others and promote domestic resources such as Nuclear Energy, Solar energy, Coal, Fracking, etc... making the US energy independent
-Fix corruption in the government by having proper management. ("million dollar soccer field", "special interest lobbyist", etc...).
-Build up the US military by investing heavily into it and by having the latest technology available.
-Not get involved in conflicts like Iraq, Libya, etc...
-Put proper real tough negotiators so the US won't be stuck with bad deals like hostages, Iran Nuclear deal, Bergdahl, etc...
