Completely fine, nothing to worry about here 🙂  All within spec.

the Teamgroup one is good for 2 TB at 102$, or you can get a NVME one for 2 TB, https://slickdeals.net/f/16195606-2tb-solidigm-p41-plus-series-nvme-gen4-ssd-newegg-2tb-110?attrsrc=search%3Aterm%3Assd|search%3Apage%3A1|search%3Aposition%3A10|search%3Aresult_type%3Athread|search%3Aresult_id%3A16195606&src=SiteSearchV2Algo1 it is dramless but again for a gaming drive and such thats fine.

Certification acquiring issue from what I can see. To be honest, I am not sure personally on how it works. I need to dig into this (how it all works on the back).
I know it is related to the TPM being enabled, and Windows being newly installed wants to get a certificate.

    All I can say is:
If you are using a Firewall (beside Windows built-in one), disable them (you can enable your firewall software/hardware back once it got the certificate) If you are using a VPN, it might be blocking access to the service to get the certificate. Make sure Windows is fully updated. Install AMD latest chipset drivers (and restart your system after, if the setup doesn't do it). It could be that the server is overloaded, and just waiting will eventually work again.
PS.: I am assuming that your system is not domain join, and you are using Windows 10/11 Home or Pro. Any other edition (or domain joined) requires Windows Server to push the certification.

I don’t think it should be anything to worry about.

If you want it to run cooler, tweak your fan curve - may be more noisy, but your temps should drop a bit (this may be an idea to do during your Summer months, depending on temps).

Unfortunately none of the suggestions above worked(but still give them a try since it worked for some). What worked for me is Nvidia's firmware update tool it was created to address this issue specifically:
    https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/nv-uefi-update-x64/

When you run it, it'll tell you whether the firmware needs updating. Once it's done I was able to see the boot screen and get into bios using displayport!

On the metal of the cooler heatsink, you can use ANYTHING as long as you clean the surface of the cooler with water and dry it out afterwards.  SOLVENTS will soften the paste and make it easier to remove :

    Isopropyl alcohol,
    acetone (nail polish remover),
WD40 (has a lot of isopropyl alcohol and solvents in it),
gas lighter fluid or gasoline (gasoline and derivates are solvents, they will soften stuff up, but you have to wash the surface afterwards and dry it out
sanitary alcohol (it's usually 70-85% ethanol which is solvent, distilled water for the rest, plus some drops of coloring and chemicals that make you puke if you drink it)
vodka will also work or some whisky .

You can also use all of the above on the actual cpu lid, but for some of the items you don't want to accidentally drop outside the metal lid on the cpu.  If you do, must clean and wait for that area to dry out.

Yes it should be fine to use.

Ethyl alcohol evaporates more quickly, but that's an good thing when it comes to PC parts. It's no more aggressive of a solvent than isopropyl.

Apply it to a cloth or cotton swab, if any spills over the edge of the CPU onto the substrate, give it a long time to evaporate. I thought I killed my GPU when I cleaned the die, but it ended up being fine after 24hrs to dry. Still a bit scary.

if you want to be 100% sure then buy some isopropyl alcohol at a higher percentage. if you only have the ethylic alcohol then just be super careful to not spill it and use a really small part

squallypo reacted to frenkensteinPC in rx 570 gigabyte gaming 4gb 90w board power limit???
that's not the real power consumption the defenition of TDP is :
The TDP is the maximum amount of heat generated by the graphics card that a cooling system has to dissipate (the power is dissipated in the form of heat) under normal conditions (?). For example, a TDP of 100W means the VGA cooler must be designed to dissipate heat equivalent to 100W. The TDP does not reflect the total power consumption of a graphics card.

The power consumption of the whole graphics card is defined by the TGP or Total Graphics Power, the difference between the TGP and TDP which represents the power consumption of graphics memory sub-system + the power consumption of the power circuitry (VRM) itself . Looks like Radeon cards have less power loss than GeForce ones (30W for the RX 5700).

so add 90w with the wasted watt in vrm vram and other component etc and you get 120w in your case.

because not every cpu is the same, hence they'r playing it safe and give users the option to optimize this stuff themselves, but there is no guarantee it will work and to what degree.

Tldr: if you give a cpu just slightly too low or high voltage it will simply crash. Not the best experience for a customer ~

Is this what you meant ? Why do this instead of what it's shown in the video alone ? Just our of curiosity.

Also I know it might be just marketing but why does it says in the warning section that undervolting may damage or shorten the life or the processor or any other system components ? So there's a risk at doing this ?

I'll check that tomorrow just in case cuz I'm already in bed, since I have you here why I can't see all my ryzen cpu temps, unlike I could on Intel cpu ? For example I used to run msi afterburner and it gave me readings of all the cores of the cpu temps, unlike with ryzen I get none, I tried hwinfo64 just gives one reading I think , and do all the case fans need to spin counter clockwise too ? I just have one in front and the other behind the cou cooler on the case rear or whatever you call it, I appreciate your help.
