I'm trying to start folding@home but my CPU is folding at a rate of 474 ppd. It is a RYZEN 7 1700x and should be doing about 90k ppd. Any ideas on what might be causing this?

Yes, I did mean the NVidia card. What I meant was to switch it from Auto, but only for the games you play. So Intel graphics would sitll be used for everything you don't change over.

I don't see how BIOS versions should effect the installation of a new graphics card. Just be sure you have an available PCIe x8 or x16 slot to install the card into.

Ok, so to answer your questions. Firstly, swap out the B350 board for a B450 board if you don;t  want to worry about upgrading the bios. The EVGA CLC comes with mounting hardware from some sellers, but if you don't get it, cal EVGA and they'll mail it over. Your build is fine.

I recommend you replace the PSU as it would catch fire if you plugged a 1060 into it (an exaggeration, it's more likely to kill your GPU, or not have enough PCIE power for it in the first place), 400-550W is probably optimal.
Be cautious though, since not all OEM motherboards use standard ATX power connectors.
