EK CryoFuel Solid

RKarim

Hello,

I'm looking to purchase the EK CryoFuel Solid, and was just wondering if anybody had some expirences to share. I'm a bit nervous about opaque coolant, but this one appears to be highly rated and backed by EK. Just wondering if anyone had an opinion on this.

It's rebranded Mayhems Pastel. Mayhems is cheaper, go with that. There are many mixed reviews for Pastel, either glowing, or terrible. It seems to be okay, but buy the pre-mix.

Alright, thank you. This would be a brand new loop- so I'll just grab the premix and not deal with anything. I'd be going for the white, any issues with that? There's no aluminum in my system at all.

The white seems to be the best. You should run distilled water through your loop to leak test and to flush it out. I've also heard that cleaning your radiators by filling them with water is good, as they sometimes come with stuff inside.

Alright, thanks for the help. I may also try the blue.

I would honestly avoid going with any type of Opaque fluid for long term usage as its prone to gunking and clogging. If you want color, just go with a clear fluid and add dye to it or get colored tubes.

This is not true, the opaque EKoolant was rebranded Mayhems, but hte EK-CryoFuel Opaque is their own thing.
