i didn't even talk about the temperature, i just said that intel has reached the limit of their 14nm process, because that is a 8core chip that consumes 220W at 5ghz, so if they went any further it would consume exponentially more power. Also no OC potential.
But if there is a temp problem too then it gets even better.

The vrm heatsink looks tiny, so if you are running a high wattage cpu then it might not be able to keep up.

I've played Fallout: New Vegas and Fallout 4 before, and Fallout 76 is almost certainly like a Fallout 4.1, at least from a gameplay perspective.
Fallout 76 is meant to be a free-roam Fallout world, so don't expect any deep story unlike Fallout 4 and thus New Vegas/3.

I was looking through your previous post and you're looking at either a non-K sku i5 or the suggested Ryzen 5 2600.

The i5 is non-overclockable so an aftermarket cooler is a waste of money.
The wraith cooler on the Ryzen is pretty good so you don't need to replace it.

If you're trying to save a few bucks, skip the aftermarket cooler.

    1) You don't need more than 16GB of ram
    2) You don't need that motherboard
    3) Did you forget to add an aftermarket cooler or where you planning to use the stock one? With a budget like that I'd definitely get a decent cooler to go with your cpu.

I'd used an iPhone 6S from Dec 2016 until May 2018.

The reasons I chose it, in no particular order:

    1) Software updates - Apple are undoubtedly the best at this, all of my friends whom also used iPhones were on iOS 11 the same time as me and it was fantastic to feel that Apple were able to update everyone in one sweep.

    2) Design of the iPhone - The iPhone's now-infamous design (particularly the 6/6S in this case) was perfect, everything was placed in the right position such as the camera, headphones jack, speaker grilles, and especially the home button which also doubled as the TouchID fingerprint scanner.

    3) Simplicity - I loved that it took me mere minutes to get from a sealed-box iPhone 6S to the home screen with everything set up, no frills or strings attached with the exception of the iCloud which I didn't ever activate. The simplicity of the phone's software allowed it to be one of the most easy phones I've ever used with the settings, apps screen, and even the control center being designed so nicely and seamlessly.

    4) Optimisation - The iOS platform is so optimised that literally no app ever stuttered. That about sums up iOS as a whole.

    5) Android is too fiddly - Android was far too fragmented with the software updates and the actual software itself with its whole range of customisation options that the iPhone 6S was the phone to choose at the time due to its simplistic nature as mentioned above. My previous Nexus 5X had slowed down to a screeching halt.

My phone history is: Samsung S2, Samsung S4, Nexus 5, OnePlus One, Nexus 5X, iPhone 6S, Samsung S8.

It's also worth noting that the iPhone 6S was the longest span I had ever owned and used a phone.

My friend recently got into a car accident where he hydroplaned in the rain, crashed through a fence, and rolled over in a ditch being flipped upside down and half submerged in water. During which, his main rig went ballistic into the windshield and many of his belongings got covered in mud for a day or two before being recovered.
Luckily, he got out without a scratch. That being said, the computers that were in the car with him weren't as lucky.

    Here's some of the carnage.
    Cleaning..
I spent the next 2-3 days taking apart, scrubbing/overall cleaning, and testing the parts with him. The cases (Lian Li PC-TU300/Bitfenix Prodigy) were disassembled, hosed down, and left to dry.
The motherboard from his Thinkpad died. The power supplies in his personal and work system (Corsair AX760 and CX430) were never tested and left alone for safety reasons.
His primary OS drive (Samsung Evo 500GB) flew away and was never recovered.
That being said, we were surprised to find that the rest of the components from the two systems still work.

The cpu (6700k/G3258) protected the pins and the socket protected the cpu so they worked just fine and the same goes for the ram. The motherboards (Asus Z170 Deluxe and AsRock H81M-ITX) was scrubbed down with several passes with a toothbrush and the heatsink (Noctua NH-D14) was bent back into place and performs just as well as new. We tested the heatink with a single NF-P14 on a 6700k at stock settings with OCCT and temps peaked at 45c. The stock intel heatsink on the G3258 has a very subtle scratching sound but is about as quiet as it was new.

The graphics card (EVGA 980 Ti) worked fine with several runs of Unigine Valley but the fans have dirt in them and sound rumbly under load. We contacted EVGA for replacement fans but they're apparently out of stock. My friend is in the process of deciding what to do from here whether it be aftermarket NF-A9x14's or an MK-26 with 120mm fans.
    Graphics card update:

The noctua fans were washed under a faucet and spun themselves dry. All the drives including two 250GB Samsung Evo's, a 2TB Seagate Barracuda, and a 120GB Kingston SSDNow V300 were in perfect health according to CrystalDiskInfo. A single Hitachi 1TB had a slight whirring sound and was replaced with a WD Red 3TB I had lying around.
Here are the photos of his system reassembled with a new Antec NeoEco 620C psu.
The other system was put back together as well but that was less exciting and isn't too interesting to look at.
Lesson of the day: Computer components are pretty durable.

Apart from the bloatware (which is fairly easy to remove anyway), the random Windows updates, the occasional Windows software errors, and the hassle of activation, I haven't seen much issues with Windows 10.
My PC, laptop, old PC, and my brother's PC all use Windows 10, and they have all had zero significant issues.

It's more so a pain in the ass to remove all the preinstalled trash that comes with it. Ads, 3D Objects, Cortona, One Drive, Windows Store, Xbox trash, and all the stupid apps. Not that it's hard to remove these things.. it's more of a hassle. Edit the reg, edit your start up apps, remove telemetry, yada, yada, yada.. Give me a bare bones OS with the option to add that trash.
