My cousin connected his laptop to his PC with a male to male usb connector... which created a short circuit and busted both his device... he ended up losing over $1500 in his less than a year old hardware... and when I told him to try and RMA it... his intelligence peaked and he told the customer care representative his crowning achievement.

I am a little creatively inclined and people always ask me to draw them something or recommend creativity software... one such person asked me to create a custom background for his website... in MsPaint on his Laptop and refused my offer to use my own PC or install any software(GIMP etc.)... After that he refuted my creativity at my inability to produce anything in his choice of software.

Back in 2002 my friend opened his 8 year old PC for the first time... and what did he find a spider nest full of dust buildup over 5 inches... his whole case was so full of it... I am not sure how the fan in the back could even spin. And like all smart people, he took the PC outside to clean it and used his garden hose...

There are so many more... but they make me cringe and I would rather not share the atrocities faced by tender electronics at the hands of insufferable idiots.

 

Intel because it runs cooler, has great support and better quality.

Only time I will choose an AMD will be when going for igp performance for shoestring budget gaming PC.

Well his PC was infested with spiders and he did not want to blow them away... After all Flooding is the preferred method of extermination used by all powerful beings!

CS:GO is not a very demanding game, it just means that your GPU can run it at max without giving its 100%.

I have read around 980 "finished" manga... currently I am following almost 217 "ongoing" manga and there are over 500 that I started reading but stopped in the middle since the story got boring or there were too few chapters remaining till I caught up. I can make a recommendation list of my top 100 ~ or if you want specific genres I can also do that. I do like anime but manga leaves a lot to our imagination. The only anime I have followed regularly would be One Piece because I love the Japanese Voices as much as I love the story... still it doesn't beat the manga though

I have been reading manga since 1996 when I first got a Doraemon "tankobon" set.

Here are some of my all time favorite manga which you can read online (do buy the tankobons when you can if you like the series).

1. KINGDOM: If you like history, war and every single page packed with action ~ Kingdom is one of the best ongoing historical manga currently serialized in Weekly Young Jump
2. KONGOU BANCHOU: I always loved stories of juvenile delinquents and when Suzuki Nakaba sensei (famous for Seven Deadly Sins) wrote a fantastic story about them with each Banchou as strong as a Marvel Heroes... there was no turning back.
3. KYOU KARA ORE WA: Everyone should know Lord Mitsuhashi and his friends many adventures as he and his friends go through their high school. You will laugh and you will cry but it will be a story that you will thoroughly enjoy.
4. ANGEL DENSETSU: Does appearance matter? Read the story of this very sincere high school student whose life is marred by his one feature... his face which sends shivers down everyone's spine. This story is a riot. If you die laughing... it is not my responsibility.

I am limiting the explanation to the bare minimum so as to not spoil the plot. Other than Kingdom, all stories have been finished and are short enough to be read in a month or two if you don't binge on them. If you like this list, I will post more not so well known gems. Peace.

970 for CUDA and 290 for OpenCL... if you are using Adobe... go for CUDA and if you are using Vegas then either is a good option.

Not worth all the money ~ anything more than 2 way SLI is a waste of money unless you have some specific tasks which can utilize each card's 100% capacity.

It will really help me with my 3D modelling workstation as my 3930K has begun to show its age with newer versions of Max and Maya.

I would pick myself up and ensure my own safety while being free.

Leave them for your children... nothing is more important than their sentimental value... if you want a new GPU, get a job and save some money.
