I have 3 Pentium III 733mhz XBOX CPU's.

Just wondering what you all have :)

My oldest is a Pentium MMX 133MHz

 

I have some Katmai CPUs and pretty much benchmarked 1 of every generation CPU between P68 and Haswell.. excluding IVY-B!

 

Similar story on the AMD side, 754/939 to present.

I have 8 Celeron D 220's...those are the oldest I have

The oldest I have is a Pentium II that did work, I haven't tried it in over 5 years though I don't see a reason why it wouldn't. The oldest functional CPU I have is what was in my girlfriends PC which is a Core 2 Duo E4700.

I did the same thing to an Xeon chip I bought for $10 off of eBay. However, it didn't come out as smoothly as that. In fact, there's a big hole in the die. In addition, I'm using a zip tie to keep it on my keychain loop.

My smallest drill bit was incredibly blunt so I had to make the pilot hole with a hammer and nail, lol.

people give me their old computers, i open them, see if they are good, if they are i use them, if they aren't i open them and pick all the parts.

my cellar is literally full of boxes of old pc parts.

and by full i mean really full
