Hey I'm a big fan, but have never posted on the forums before. Just wanted to make an account to say cryptocurrency sucks and please don't promote it in the future. I work in cybersecurity and crypto causes us tons of headaches, between malicious miners and more importantly ransomware cryptocurrency enables sophisticated FINCRIME groups to sustain huge operations dedicated to making the internet less safe!

Also despite being far less than 1% of the worlds transactions bitcoin alone had the same carbon footprint as New Zealand in 2020. It's a huge waste of energy, which is bad because we're rapidly approaching climate catastrophe! 

Also if you look into the enthusiastic ideological "true believer" types in Silicon Valley that are dumping money into trying to make cryptocurrency viable they're all Peter Thiel neoreactionary types that are super interested in building up parallel institutions to the state so they can weaken democracy in the interest of strengthening "liberty (by which they mean the right to be taxed). It's really dark stuff!

I honestly dont get the reason people want high refresh and high res displays in their phones. Maybe it's cus I literally just picked up my first smartphone ever (moto g fast) and it basically has a 720p display, I read a review that was like "you can see the pixels" but I don't know what kind of microscope they were using since I don't see any pixels at all. The only time I can notice that it's 720p is when I'm watching something on youtube and only if I'm holding it within like.... 6 inches of my face. 
 
I also dont get how y'all have to charge your phone everyday, how much are you using it? The only way I have to charge this every day is if I purposefully sit down and watch something/play games for hours and hours on end.

yeah a huge pattern of deleting old unused data. just normal cost-benefit. they could keep adding storage orrrrrrr they could just delete data that isn't used + inactive accounts which is pretty normal?

There's a huge huge difference between running at 60fps/1080p/4k and looking like someone smeared vaseline all over the camera and having to wait 5s for a texture LOD to update. If it looked better, no one would care if it was 720p 30fps. But the fact is it was announced in 2012, prepro started in 2016, it was heavily marketed for XOS/XOX/PS4/PS4Pro. And the current versions arent even the PS5/XbSX versions either, this is just the base versions. CDPR definitely bit off more than they could chew here.

I'm pretty sure the Doom Eternal Switch port looks better than this. Same with the Doom 2016 port.

The argument  that the last gen consoles are old and last gen is irrelevant. it was allways going to be released on them, and was intended to be released on them before the new consoles would have been available. As such it should not run like crap. If you release it on a platform it should work on that platform.
