Divamage reacted to Bombastinator in What do you think about the new XBOX Series X?
Caused me to find out what a Corsair 1 is. That’s one compact machine. It looks to me right now more like beefed down. Possibly way down, though the HD is likely going to be faster.
well find out soon though.

thx i fixed it with a giant thermal pad

Divamage reacted to Septimus in titan x problem
I would replace the thermal pads with new ones when you put the new cooler on (if you decide to go that far), or when you replace the fans. It's likely an issue with the way the fans are pulling the air because of some weird alignment issue, or they just weren't designed well.

Divamage reacted to Naeaes in game vram leak
GTA5 uses a different engine so it doesn't really apply. I believe at certain settings the IWEngine in BO3 pre-fills the VRAM intentionally with unused textures and whatnot. Just so they're available faster once they're needed.
OP, it's normal. BO3 is a huge memory hog. Here's more on my theory and here's an applicable benchmark.

Some games will just use more if more is available to them. Just be glad your titan is actually getting a work out.

No, it does not matter. If the GPU remains under 65C, then it's fine.

Build Title: "Project Iceberg" The Ultimate Watercooled Gaming Wall
Thread URL: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/365700-project-iceberg-the-ultimate-water-cooled-gaming-wall/
Description: An Idea I had for many years, financially held back from attempting it until recently. The idea was to bring my pc and game consoles together, wall mount and watercool them all.
It's a big project and it all stays cool, hence the name "Iceberg"(first thing that popped in my head). I built it all from the ground up, basically coming up with more ideas on how to mount parts
as i worked through. I had a rough idea in my head of how i wanted it to look but certain obstacles got in the way and I had to improvise. I was sure on a couple things from the beginning, that was
the white and blue theme and the glowing company logos. I'm happy with the result though if there is one thing i may change in the future its the flexible tubing to hardline acrylic.
