can someone explain to me why the titan x min requirements is 24gb memmory??

According to nvidia website titan x need 8 gb minimum 16 gb recommend.

MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:

PCI Express-compliant motherboard with one dual-width x16 graphics slot

One 6-pin and one 8-pin PCI Express supplementary power connector

Minimum 600 W or greater power supply

300 MB of available hard drive space

8 GB system memory (16 GB or higher recommended)

Microsoft Windows 8 and 8.1, Windows 7 or Windows Vista

im getting a titan x tomorrow and ive got a corsaire 850rm

 

should i use i cable for 6 and 8 pin or should i use 2 cables 

1 for 6pin and another for 8 pin

One cable will work just fine.

Why not a 980ti? It's a lot more affordable. Or come over to red camp. we have Fury!

you make a good point

BUt correct me if im wrong 

the fury is not as powerful as the titan x BUT it does have a much larger bit bus  making it faster in someways

also i just spent $1000 on a cpu 

is it really good to buy another card?

Naw if you've decided on the Titan X just get it, you'll have the biggest epeen.
