Go easy on fanboys, I was AMD hold out.  My laptops had APUs, gaming desktop was an FX, and my dedicated office computer was AMD A10 APU desktop.  Then my business became full time and I needed real servers, and now everything I have is Intel, not that I am anti-AMD, just bought what works, and what I could afford.  The point is fanboys can come around, but they have to come to the conclusion on their own, if you force it, they take it as personal attack and latch on.  I hold a Skype support group for recovering fanboys Fridays @9PM ESD.  The brand loyalty doesn't matter, Intel, AMD, Nvidia, we are here if you need us.

Your rate hike has nothing to do with that though, Plattsburgh, Tupper Lake, Lake Placid, all get their municipal back end from NSEG or National Grid, as the old contracts expire, the city as a whole gets a rate hike on the new contract.  The new contract initially seems a bit higher, but you have to take into account the rate is typically locked for the durration of the contract, but NYSEG and National Grid direct customers see smaller incremental increases over the same period of time and end up paying much more per kwh.

There you go assuming, I lived in Plattsburgh NY, I now live 45 miles from their in Chateaugay NY.  Between Altona, Ellenbergh, Chateaugay, and Malone  NYSEG has grown their number of windmills from under a dozen, to just shy of a THOUSAND.  Offering incentives to the large farms here to allow them to install the windmills on their property.  Plattsburgh NY while it has it own municipality for electric, that just means the city maintains the lines and equipment in the city, NSYEG still provides their power at a much lower kwh rate.

JCMPTech got a reaction from paddy-stone in Verizon throttling unlimited data.
That's "always on data" and 3rd party providers unlimited plans that use Verizon nsetowek according to the terms and conditions, the Beyond Unlimited plan (what I had) , they only throttle streaming services to standard definition (1.5-3mb), once you go over 10. I also only use a gig or two every months anyway, and it always speed test to under 3mb.

Edit: actually according to Verizon own site I am wrong I should get unlimited 720 and only throttled to standard definition speeds (1.5- 3mb) once I break 22GB.  I never used more than three, and usually around one or two.

Verizon Beyond Unlimited. Price: $75 per month and up. The fine print: The amount of 4G LTE data is unlimited, but your speed could be throttled once you hit the 22GB mark for the month. Video quality is limited to 720p on phones and 1080p on tablets.

So they should only be throttling me after 22GB but were throttling me out the gate.

See most people see me show up on a Job site and think I am poor.  I drive an old 2003 Jeep, my daily use PC is an i5 thinkbook, my office "servers" are just repurposed Intel core2Quad Dell Optiplexs, and I don't exactly dress to impress.  We have lots of land and a list of projects so if you saw me on my days off I'd have work boots and covered with dirt.   So I have had clients look down  on me not knowing they make substantially less than me, I just have different priorities.  What they don't see is the 36 acres and custom manufactured  home with 30 year mortgage,  that we paid off in less than  five years, nothing we own  is financed (my old jeep, 2013 CR-V, and Ford F150 paid cash) , and I could decide to take months off at a time and not worry about bills.  I cannot afford to buy anything I want, because I choose to pay off everything I need early.  Because of this I may not have the best toys, but my kids never see a babysitter, they are with me, their mother, or grandmother, I have the freedom to set my schedule, and be comfortable enough to never struggle but also enjoy life, and not spend all my time chasing the dollar.

No they just immediately  blamed this update (well the HP call center guy did) but after a reimage and all the updates installed it didn't boot loop and is running fine.  but I also just used the windows 10 media not the HP one, and after further talking to the client the update that wanted to restart was one of the HP bloatware ones so who knows, it works now and it was Not this CPU patch that did it, since that's installed now and it runs fine. All the hardware passed so, no telling what caused it, I could guess and say the HP bloatware not being compatible with the CPU patch, but it's update wanting to restart could of just been a coincidence

    again as above:
As far as old hardware, as an IT contractor and having a shop I can tell you 90% of my legacy hardware customers did not ask for windows 10.   They were fine with windows 7 and turning off updates (most preferred 7), but when you force your OS on legacy hardware and remove the ability to stop updates you have to take some responsibility.  If they did not want to support legacy hardware they should not of had them auto update to windows 10.

During the windows 10 roll out I had tons of customers coming in trying to decline the update, the would decline, yet the upgrade to 10 still came though, which is why MS lost a law suit over it.

"Microsoft on Friday said consumers would become coal mine canaries who turn up bugs and problems in each Windows 10 update months before businesses have to commit to the fixes."
"Windows customers have been griping for months about the quality of Microsoft's updates, many of which have been problem-filled and some of which have had to be pulled because of those problems. Some analysts and users have connected the dots, arguing that after Microsoft's massive layoffs in mid-2014, when the company's software testing groups were especially hard hit, the quality of its updates declined."
"Microsoft fired all those testers last year," pointed out Wes Miller, an analyst with Directions on Microsoft, in a Friday interview. "Now consumers are the testers."

Its pretty common knowledge this is how they planned on addressing windows 10 update testing.

as for the the video goes when he mentions it, its at the end which is why i linked it with a time stamp added, he never mentioned that in the title its not for "clicks".

they are relying on analytical software, to find the major showstoppers, we are meant to catch what gets past the software.

Everyone of my Comcast customers that have bought their own modem, Comcast will not activate the telephony service on it, they make you use theirs, however you can still uses your own modem and they will disable everything except telephpny on theirs and you will just use theirs for phone, and yours for everything else.  They also wont charge you a fee for using their modem despite your still using it for telephony.  So just buy a basic docics 3 modem, use theirs for phone.

The general consensus around csgofast.com is that the website itself is safe but it has garnered quite a lot of negative reviews from users. The service has a low pagerank on Google and not a lot of mentions or shares on social media such as Twitter or Facebook. The negative reviews stem from the fact that a lot of users have been reportedly scammed by the website. Whether it’s having their winning locked down or being unable to withdraw until winning a high amount of money, csgofast.com doesn’t seem to have the best reputation in the slightest.

The help received from the support staff here doesn’t seem great either. Users have reported that when they tried to reach out to the admins or mods, they would get vague responses at best. Either they would get ignored or when they do get a response, it would make next to no sense. One such report was from a guy that had his withdraw of skins worth a lot of money locked. When reaching out to the support crew, he was informed that he used a “maliciously used pricing bug” and had been permanently banned because of it.
This left the user confused because he didn’t even know what that term meant. While it’s possible that the claims from the support staff are justified and maybe the user did do something wrong, he is still owed a proper and more detailed explanation on why he is banned and if there’s any way in which his ban can be lifted. But the response he got from the admin is very vague and barely provides him with any of the information that he is owed as a user of the website.
There are around 2000 users online on average which is not a bad number but not a good one either. Clearly, csgogast.com itself is safe and it doesn’t pose any danger in terms of viruses and account security. However, the scamming reports and lackluster help from the support staff are highly suspicious and anyone using this service should only do so with the utmost caution.

If I recall when the 7890k came out I kept getting partner emails from AMD talking about how it could run Battlefield one on 1080P and medium settings run 60 frames consistently however the new AMD Apu use that use ddr4 I believe they have one for $100 that crushes the 7890k and the 7890k I believe is still going for like $125. That being sad I did a build last year with the 7890k for Christmas young kid getting into gaming and there is't a game that he cant play, although some of the settings are going to be on low but you're still going to get very playable frame rates on even  AAA titles.
