Karl Sven reacted to HeroRareheart in Will a 2.1 HDMI work with my gtx 1080? Or do I have to get the standard 2.0?
If you're asking if a cable rated for the HDMI 2.1 spec will work with a device rated for only HDMI 2.0 the answer is yes, it will just operate at the 2.0 spec.

Do you already have parts or are building from scratch?

    Whats your budget?

Id probably just get 2 pcs, it normally is easier to use and about the same price.

If you want 2 on one system id use multipoint software instead of vms as it save a lot of hassle with passthough and lets you use one gpu.

One problem with vms or multipoint is that some games just won't run due to vm issues or other problem, often caused by anti cheat software.

    Hi Boyce!!
Well the topic is not easy to answer since there's a lot of missconception about "sourrounding" and "being able to pin point" this or that.
The first thing you need to know is that you wont pin point anything better because your headset simulates a room around your ears. Actually, the sounds gets more messed up, which give you a feeling of more realism in some scenarios but can also fuck up A LOT the directional sound. I myself have the Astro's A50 3rd. gen (one of the best headsets in the market, if not the best) and in some games, for instance the phantom pain. When an enemy is getting close I can hear the steps ALL AROUND me cause the headset understands the sound goes around the room and is sometimes very difficult to recognize where the sounds comes from.
Another apreciation is that many profesional eSport players play with normal stereo button headsets (plugged in the ears) under the brand that pays them to wear their headset over the head (marketing stuff  )
So my advice is that you forget about 7.1, 5.1 or any other gimmick.
And as long as youre after something cheap go to your local store and find the best 15€ pair of earbuds you can find. I have all kind of headsets: The Astro's, some senheiser lying around somewhere, the hyper X Cloud 2.... and you know what? I have a pair of panasonics earbuds I bought for 10€ in Spain because I needed them to take a flight and listen to some music in the meantime. Guess which headset I enjoy the most for comfort and honestly a great sound quality

Karl Sven got a reaction from Cyberspirit in Mouse feeling accelerated after last windows update
    Hi Cyberspirit!
I've founded this link myself before and... didn't quite felt comfortable with it or felt like did any change. Though after some days of feeling still over frustrated with the thing decided to revisit the post and download the "regedit" config. again and guess what. Now it works like a charm! And as said in the readme mouse acceleration must be ON for it in order to work properly.
I guess when I tried first day I was too obsessed with the idea that windows changed something I couldn't fix
And now after some days living with the "new" windows (fucked up) feeling and try this I felt it at first touch how it was perfect 1:1 mouse tracking Back to normal.
So thanks a lot for the research and dedicated answer. Deserved even if it didn't solve the problem. Didn't answer first day just because of how mad with everything I was
And attach the prove that everything is back to normal (176 is not like crazy high but for the first try of the morning looks promising xD)

You could try to reset your mouse and then set things up again in the app.
Not sure how you can reset the G502 so, you will have to ask support about that but, on my mouse, it's left and right click and scroll wheel at the same time when the mouse is unplugged.

EDIT: I found a video that might help you: HERE

Here's the website from the video: Link

Also, here's a note from the website:

NOTE: ALL registry based mouse fixes, INCLUDING this one, ONLY work when the
Control Panel > Mouse > 'Enhance pointer precision' option is ON (OR when an older game forces 'Enhance pointer precision' to ON), AND your game does not use DirectInput and does not use Raw Input for mouse input.

Actually even in the resolution I'm having "problems" (only running at 45/50fps with eventual drops) Is at 4K, at 3440x1440 I'm at rock solid 60 all the time.
Though more than that is not achivable either

Karl Sven reacted to MVPernula in Not performance improvement noticeable on i7 7700k overclocked to 4.8GHz
    It's the other way around.
At lower resolutions it's more CPU bound since it has to keep up with the GPU.
    "Less pixels- easier for GPU"

At higher resolutions like 3840x2160 or 3440x1440 the GPU has to work more pixels around, your CPU doesn't have to work as much with the GPU to keep up with the frames.
This is why your CPU is the bottleneck at 1080p in higher framerates, it can't keep up with the GPU.
In higher resolutions your GPU simple doesn't have the horsepower to run those frames, so your CPU is chilling
