I'm broke, so even if I win this, I wouldn't be able to afford an X99 board and DDR4 ram..   If I were to win this giveaway, I'd probably dance for a few hours and then cry because I cant use the CPU in a computer. Then I'd tape the CPU to my car so that I gain +500 gigahorsepower core with turbo boost up to 20psi

I would buy an X99 board and create my first enthusiast grade platform. There's some relatively inexpensive x99 boards to be had, and winning a 5820k would certainly cut out a significant amount of the cost.

Well, my a6-6400k is bottlenecking my 270, lol. But the 270 will bottleneck 5820. But I have saved some money and my PC will be a present to my dad, if I get the 5820K!

Can you try plugging your PC into a router or even your modem? This will eliminate the possibility of either the Airport, atheros, or Intel NIC's being a problem.
 
I'd also like to see a parts list of your system? Are you dualbooting Windows and OSX?

Next time, don't spread the TIM. Just apply a small pea of TIM and let the heatsink spread it. This will eliminate air bubbles that a spread TIM will cause. The less air bubbles, the better. You can check videos on how TIM spreads if you don't believe me, Linus does it this way.
