A lot quieter than the H100i stock fans. Maybe even whisper quiet.

It's not their quietest fans but they are still very quiet and perform well. You'll want eLoops or Silent wings instead since they're pretty and are extremely quiet.

Both cost more than the NFF12, just something to consider.

This. The main things people tend to complement my PC are how cool it looks and how quiet it is. I'm running 2x 200mm Corsair fans (the stock ones), a NF-F12, and a 120mm GEILD fan in my 600T

I might be the only one to say that I think Noctua's are over rated...  Noiseblocker eLoops are better.  I have 3 eLoops on 1 rad and 2 NF-F12's on another.  rpm to rpm, the eLoops are quieter and difference in air pressure is negligible.  Price is about the same and the eLoops look awesome while the Noctua's are ugly as sin.  Only downside of the eLoops is that they can't be used in pull (based on the pic OP posted this shouldn't be an issue).

I use NF-F12s in my build with an h100i. They only time I hear then is when I over volted them (for testing). And even then, it wasn't the fans I was hearing but the air being sucked into the case. They are awesome fans.

In my opinion, the color of the noctua's is just a way to show off a premium product. I love having them in my build. Best fans on the market hands down.

just cause its Noctua's trademark color doesn't mean I have to think its pretty...  I guess some people can think they look good, but majority opinion is that they're ugly

have you tried every fan on the market?  have you tried eLoops?

I have not tried them. However, out of the 7 different fans I have used in my PC, I have gotten the best quiet to performance ratio with Noctua fans. That is why I think they are the best fans you can buy.

so imma be mr. stickler here...

you can claim they're the best out of the 7 you tried, you can't claim they're the best you can buy...

and like I said before, comparing nf-f12 to eloop side by side, eloop is better
