Just privacy issues, collection, and support. I pretty much avoid using any google based hardware or smart devices like that.

Wifi setup can be simple, or can be complex, it all heavily depends on the house and what is wired and whats not. If you have in house wiring and you can connect routers its easy, if you have to boost signal through the house with only wifi signals, it is gonna be a bit hit or miss. Most mesh networks like this generally have a central hub which requires a wired connection, where would that be located for you in the house? Then you have to position the mesh nodes in a efficient proximity to the node and that generally just depends on the layout of the house, materials and appliances in the way such as a microwave. For instance most of my internet came through the basement in a crawlspace that was made of stone and concrete, making it quite hard to do wifi mesh systems. I had to do a LOT of work and checking walls and spaces to get wiring done, but it did work out in the end. So its gonna be a pick exactly where you are starting and figure out which mesh based system works best for you based on what they give.

I'm unfamiliar with Ark, however, it appears there's some information here: https://ark.fandom.com/wiki/Dedicated_server_setup

I can understand your point of view and although I really like the case there are some parts of it that isn't great.

My previous build experience are from Lian Li, Fractal and NZXT cases.
I have had the O11 Dynamic since Nov 2018 and since my initial build in this case I have rebuilt my setup two times more (different cooling setup, changed the mobo...etc).
I have not had a single problem with front panel falling off or the USB port becomming loose or anything really.

There are some parts that are not great in this case.
The cable management is awful, I would have liked better cable management on the back side with some velcro strap.
Even though I am not using the second PSU slot I have very little room in the back of my case.
Because I have 3x RGB hubs (1 commander pro, 1 lightning node, 1 rgb hub) + PSU cable extensions + a total of 12x 120mm fans the back of my case gets a little crouded and the plate in the middle for mounting 1x 3.5 + 1x 2.5 disks squishes a lot of my cables even though I have done what I can to tie down my cables as well as possible.

So there are design improvments that can be made for sure but so far I havn't had any quality problems with my case.
Maybe you were just unlucky and got a bad case.

The glue coming off is a 100% con there's no question.

The second PSU is mostly a Der8aur add on, for the enthusiasts putting crazy high end CPU and multi GPU configurations where 1600w PSU's aernt enough.

I believe Paul's Hardware also mentioned loose USB port/Front panel on general. Top panel is a convenience con, haven't worked with the case yet so I can't say if it would bug me or not.

Probably the Evolv was the all round best case I had the none TG so the swinging side panels were great just to get into the back of the case it looked incredible

But they all have separate reasons I loved all them cases:

Anidees looked great and while it was a while ago I dont remember any problems while building in it

Thermaltake core V1 was super light and small form factor making it great to move around

NZXT was just a simple build experience with great cable management.

Also another fault of the O11 is that all 4 of the super cheap feet it has have come off because they were just sticky pads and now it scratches my desk yay

Im running r7 1700 at 2133mhz ram, and i dont feel like anything is wrong, cinebench is fine etc.
I probably lose some fps in games, but it works, and ram is too expensive to upgrade.

I would recommend against FreeNAS with the parts you have ordered for two reasons.

    1) ECC memory is a must if you want to run ZFS and care about your data. If your non-ECC RAM gets for example a bit stuck then ZFS will slowly corrupt all data you have in the array. It is extremely important that your RAM is 100% correct at all times when using ZFS.

    2) AMD and FreeBSD has not mixed well historically, and you will find an overwhelming amount of very knowledge FreeNAS users and developers strongly recommend using AMD hardware for FreeNAS.

    I recommend openmediavault instead.
It does not use ZFS (you can choose between several file systems such as ext4 and btrfs) which removes the reliance on ECC.
It's also GNU/Linux based which means that AMD compatibility is not an issue.

It's a bit more difficult to set up, but there are several guides out there if you need help. It's also developed by one of the former lead-developers of FreeNAS, and follows many of the same ideas.

If you don't mind some DIY work, you could get some acrylic panels, cut them to shape and drill mounting holes.  As long as you take care of it, acrylic can hold its shine and transparency for decades.

I'll have to look around it'll come down to price and Wi-Fi I can always swap out the motherboard later on but Wi-Fi is more of a priority right now atleast.

But won't hurt to have a look around
