Can Ryzen run stock on slow memory

Hey guys so just wondering I'm building a computer for my girlfriend and wanted to know if ryzen can run stock on slow memory as I was just going to take the ram from my computer put it in hers and upgrade my own.

Honestly if she uses it at all it'll be for the Sims only going for ryzen 3/5 with 8gb of ram I think it's 2400 speed idk am not at home rn

I have seen tech YouTubers talk about the importance of ram and ryzen but as in running Intel I'm not sure if they're just being overly cautious or thinking more for overclocking ect

Also I'm not going with a apu the 2200g or 2400g as I'm going to be putting in a dedicated gpu but the cpu may be a 2200g or 2400g if that makes sense

Im running r7 1700 at 2133mhz ram, and i dont feel like anything is wrong, cinebench is fine etc.

I probably lose some fps in games, but it works, and ram is too expensive to upgrade.

I only see your reply if you @ me.

I'm almost in the same boat as you, except I have a 1600.

I just took the ram out of my old i5 6600 rig, as ram 1 year ago was already too expensive.
