Found a jumping spider in my cubicle this morning. When I approached it, it had it's front arms (legs?) up and making it look like it was dancing. It is only appropriate of me to name this tiny dancer Elton.

Now I'm listening to the little spider's namesake:
Didn't know they made an updated music video for this song.

Since I picked up a 3/8th impact at the acme tool sale a few weeks ago, I used that as an excuse to pick up a couple sets of Proto 3/8th drive metric impact sockets!

I have to order another westling machine socket tray for them so I can get them off the strips that I hate with a firey passion.

I feel like that's a bit too small for 1440p. Might as well go for the higher framerate/refresh rate one if you are sticking to that screen size.

Yeah I lubed them. Like all stabs they do need it to not rattle, but they did seem to take less than normal and feel and sound better. Also they were already super smooth to begin with, so they only needed lube to eliminate rattle.

And yeah, the plate is carbon fiber.

Dissitesuxba11s reacted to vanished in The end of Twitch? Sued for £2.1bn
Highly unlikely that this would be the end of Twitch for several reasons.

First and foremost, they're not responsible for "pirate" or otherwise problematic content on their platform so long as they're making a reasonable effort to eliminate what they can.  Inevitably some will slip through the cracks.  If this was grounds for suing the company, they would all be gone by now - Microsoft, Google, you name it.  If they were overtly engaging in it and were aware of it and did nothing to stop it, sure, they'd be in the kind of trouble that a certain famous pirate place has routinely gotten into over the years, but so long as they do their due diligence to remove things when notified and put some effort into searching them out on their own, I don't think this will hold up.

Second, they're not a small independent operation, they're backed by Amazon, one of the largest companies in the world.  The CEO could personally pay this fine out of his own savings without even noticing.  There's no way the company is actually at risk.  They can afford the best lawyers, and to pay whatever they get charged (if they even do get charged).

I believe Everglides, like EPBT, use the same mold as the Zeal stabs so essentially they are they same just without the Zeal tax and come in different colors.
    Have you looked at https://mykeyboard.eu/?

I bought some PCB mount stabs a little while back but I couldn't install them on the spacebar because the holes didn't quite line up and the stabs ended up hanging off of the PCB a little and the wire got caught up on the switch. Maybe I got the wrong stabs or something, I'm not sure.

Also, the stock plate doesn't support PCB mount stabs and I can't seem to find a plate that would support the stock PCB's hole spacing.

I love music but cant justify spending large amounts of money on it.  I watched this video expecting to get nothing really from it and I got:

Cinderella by Steven Curtis Chapman.  Listened to it with my affordable headset and its a song meant for my 2 year old daughter and I, she dances to everything.  I teared up a bit, going to jump off the forums and cuddle with her now lol (shes sleeping)

    Thanks for that!

Dissitesuxba11s reacted to Mira Yurizaki in Intel going chiplet?
What AMD is doing isn't anything new. "Chiplet" just appears to be a buzzword for multi-chip module packaging. Intel has done this before with the Pentium D Smithfield and Core 2 Quad. The only thing I'm seeing AMD doing differently here is de-intregrating the chipset features of the CPU and putting it back on its own die, then including that with the processor package.

Monolithic design still has its perks, so if the engineers think they can make it work while mitigating the issues that come with it, then it's a design that works for them. Heck, AMD's design with Zen 2 has potential logistical headaches over Zen 1 because they now have to worry about stocking two things rather than one.

Good job. For some added performance, you might be able to overclock that RAM to 3000 or even 3200 since Ryzen relies on fast RAM.

Dissitesuxba11s got a reaction from Yogi_DaBear221 in My First Big Boy Rig
The RAM overclock doesn't need added cooling so that can be done whenever you want. With regards to cooling the CPU, an AIO isn't really necessary, you can also just go with a cheaper air cooler like the Hyper 212 EVO or something else that's Tier 5 or higher on the Cooler list.

I'm not saying that watercooling is bad, I'm just saying that there are cheaper options that have less points of failure.

So this is my first what you could call a Big Boy Rig and isnt just thrown together parts. Most of it is brand new. I hope to update this as I go with it.

    Case: Rosewill RGB ATX Midtower
    Processor: Ryzen 5 2600
    RAM:16GB T-Force RGB 2666
GPU: Power Color Red Dragon RX580 8GB(Used from PCPartSwap on Reddit)
PSU: EVGA 850 BQ (Gifted from a friend)
    Motherboard: ASUS B450M
HDD: Seagate 2TB HDD and a WD 1TB HDD(from my previous build)
    SDD: 240GB Silicon Power

Probably one of the best Budget Builds I've seen.

The RAM, Motherboard, Ryzen 5, and 2TB HDD total 455.40USD
    GPU was 125.00USD
240GB SP SSD was around 50.00USD at the time of purchase.
1TB HDD came with my first PC so that cannot be factored in accurately
    PSU was also a gift.
