I don't know about in the US, but here in Britain, if you paid for 3 day shipping and the item didn't arrive in that time, I believe you can demand your money back.

The quad-core version if inferior will probably be cheaper!

Yes I did mean to since from what I understand you are saying that one does not have to upgrade to Windows 10 which is true but only until the "Kaby Lake only runs on Windows 10" thing is going to come and if you want newer hardware you will have to go with it.

People Generally Don't Work on Christmas, that's why your shipping was 4 days rather than 3 days.

It's the holidays, expect them to have delay for shipping.
I bought my 850 G2 during the 4th of July weekend, it took 10 days to ship it from the day that i'd ordered it yet I'd paid for 3 day shipping.

26th was observed as Christmas day, which makes the 27th their "handling" day. And still they never get it right 100℅ of the time.  It'll get there! Next time probably don't pay extra for rush shipping, especially around the holidays. A waste if you ask me.  There is a chance they'll refund the extra shipping charges if it actually takes longer than they told you. Gotta factor in an entire extra day after ordering for handling though (which is lame)

Your lucky anyways, I ordered 2 longer cables from Newegg for my new monitors a month ago, they were supposed to be here by the 20th and i have been through hoops and emails just to get another pair on the way since I still haven't seen them.  Really sucks cause tracking just stopped once they arrived in my city.  My desk has been a cable covered mess since then

I'll have them eventually, so will you!

if you just want 1080p 60fps no compromises, get a well cooled 480 8gb. the 1070 is overkill for that, and the rx480 will serve you better as time goes on with dx12 and vulkan support popping up more.

If you really only play at 1080p, get the 480. That should serve you well for the next few years. The 1070 is a bit overkill for 1080p (speaking from experience). If you prefer Nvidia, get a 1060.

I have been saving for a bit but now that I have the money I'm not sure what I actually want to upgrade. I thought about upgrading my rig but these are my specs:
i5-4690K (Definitely not upgrading until Kabylake at least if not Skylake-E) Asus GTX 1070 Strix (I love running older games without the fans even spinning) 16 GBs of decently fast DDR3 (I already have 32 GBs of DDR4 that I have in a different rig that I will use when I finally upgrade my CPU and Mobo) 256 GB Samsung 950 Pro, 500 GB SATA SSD, 4TB Seagate Hybrid drive So really my rig doesn't need any upgrades. My peripheral might need a little tuning. I have a nice Cherry MX Brown board but my mouse is a little glitchy. It's a Mionix Maos 7000 (or something like that). It's good but it feels like every once in a while it misses. My monitor is what I'm really looking at upgrading. It's a 1440p 60Hz monitor by Acer (not sure what kind of panel, it's not good). It does it's job but I have definitely noticed screen tearing and it's colors a little inaccurate. I'd love a G-sync monitor with good color accuracy for photo/video work. The problem with buying a monitor right now that I see is that OLED & HDR monitors are just around the corner and that is going to be amazing! So even if I got one of those amazing 21:9, curved, IPS, G-sync displays that cost like $1000 it would be money ill-spent.

The thing I originally was saving up for was a VR headset. That dream has died a little bit but I recently demoed a VR headset again and I loved it. I have demoed them before and each time I love it. I really want to play stuff like Serious Sam VR, Eve: Gunship, Eve: Valkyrie, and plenty more.

So to narrow it down, which of these should I do/get?:
Buy an HTC Vive Buy an Oculus Rift Buy an uber expensive monitor Buy a decent monitor and upgrade a few things like my mouse and CPU cooler Build a Backup NAS because I currently have little to no way to backup my computer Buy a nicer camera upgrade my console collection (I may be a PC gamer but consoles are fun and have awesome exclusives) Basically there is nothing worth buying right now so I shouldn't do anything with it and just wait.

Had this converation with the Xbox support. This is the third time I've contacted Microsoft Support in a year, and the first time I've had a negative experience.

Not a great value, though... Once the RX 480 needs to be upgraded, there will be cards in the same price tier to upgrade to, which will crush the 1070. Paying more for "future proofing" is never a good idea with PC components (especially GPUs).

Fallout 4 for 19$ is pretty good. You get a free open world and you get to build bases with an occasional attack of the base here and there. Lots of open world to explore and many things to find. Also it has a decent story, well worth the price. I have spent 4 and a half days on this game and am still enjoying it. http://store.steampowered.com/app/377160/

I was wondering what monitors would go good with this build or if the ones I have already in there would be good enough i want triple monitors the middle one is the one that will be used for PC gaming and editing and the other two will be used for other things I want each monitor to be IPS 27 inches and 1440p. Disregard the microphone things in there that is just so I know everything i am getting.

Anytime i just wanted to save you some money while getting the best performance with the monitors, fans, and OS you needed. The motherboard may be small but it is designed for gaming. Hope you enjoy it, I think I may buy this for my brother as it is an awesome build.
